Techniques for Lure Bass Fishing

In order to facilitate all lure enthusiasts to better lure sea bass, the following is the fishing technique for lure sea bass that I have brought to you. You are welcome to read it for reference only. I hope it will be helpful to you. !

Techniques for fishing with Luya Bass

(1) Operation method

① “Fight along and reverse harvest”

That is, follow the current Throw with the current and retrieve with the current.

② "Pump"

Pump the rod tip with a large or small force at any time to make the lure in the water swim abnormally up and down in the water.

③ "Swing"

When taking in the line, swing the rod tip left and right from time to time to make the lure in the water swing left and right in a small amplitude.

④ "Spin"

Intermittently draw different large and small regular circles with the tip of the rod, thereby changing the force and direction of the traction, making the lure irregular. Up and down movement. But be careful to avoid the main line wrapping around the rod tip.

⑤ Take the initiative

Continuously move to search for and test multiple fishing spots. This is for anglers who have experience in choosing fishing spots.

(2) Fishing for bass on the reef

For lures on the reef, the length of the lure rod can be selected from 3.6 to 4.5 meters, and the length of the rod can be adjusted to medium or hard, which can also be used when encountering large bass. Control the rod steadily to avoid cutting the line on the reef. The lead-head hook selected is preferably 25-40g. Throw the rod, lift the tip of the rod away from the sea bottom after touching the bottom to avoid hanging on the bottom, and then search in sections. If there is no fish on one reef, then change to another reef.

Another example is in summer, park the boat in the upper stream near the reef, hit the lure downstream to the shore, and then drag it against the current. The distance between the boat and the reef is based on the casting limit. Try to stay as far away as possible. When a fish is hooked, you can pull it away from the fish nest as soon as possible. Bass is a social fish. If you are too close, the place where the fish is struggling is also close, which may scare the fish away.

(3) Lure on the boat

To lure deep-water bass on the boat, choose a 50-70g lead-head hook depending on the water depth and flow speed, and match it with a medium and fast-adjustable lure rod. Use a 3000 ~4000 type spinning wheel is equipped with No. 6~8 lure lines about 200 meters long. The boat goes to the upstream of the seabed reef area and lowers the lead hook vertically. After touching the bottom, slowly roll up the line for about 5 to 6 meters. Loosen the line and let the lead hook return again. When it sinks to the bottom, repeat the action of taking up the line. The boat will drift downstream, and the fishing group will also search along the way. After drifting out of the reef area, it will then sail back to the upper reaches of the reef to continue searching.

(4) Shore lure bass

①When fishing at fishing spots

There needs to be larger flowing water. The fishing spots are mainly reef areas, piers, Several types of dykes. The time to catch fish is generally when the current in the reef area is relatively large; if it is a small reef seaweed zone, wait until the current stabilizes and the small fish hiding in the grass come out to look for food; For fishing spots dominated by seaweed belts, you can choose relatively gentle flowing water when the low tide has just started; at dams, you generally choose flowing water, pull it to the top of the dam, and search for nearby areas on the edge of the dam.

When the sun is very strong, there will not be many bass on the shore. Fishing is mainly done in the morning and evening, except on cloudy days. Generally, after catching a fish on the shore, the water is shallow and the fish can easily wash their gills and escape, so you must be ready at any time. Press the pole to lower the fish.

②Bait handling techniques

When the flowing water is relatively fast and the bait weight is relatively heavy, the slow-speed flat dragging method is used; when the flowing water is relatively slow, or the fish mouth is not good and the feeding desire is not strong, When it is strong, you need to do twitching, figure-eight and other movements to lure the fish to the bait.

(5) Pier lure sea bass

①Fishing group

It adopts the fishing method of lead head and soft worm, which is characterized by accurate casting and suitable for all swimming Layer search, economical and practical. The sub-line is 0.6 mm thick and about 5 cm long. It is tied directly to the soft bait hook, and the other end is tied to the swivel pendant. The swivel pendant generally weighs between 20 and 30 grams, and a straight pendant can also be used instead. The other end of the swivel pendant is tied to the main line.

②Fishing method

At the pier, you can directly throw the lure when the tide arrives and walk around the pier for trolling. Generally, it is 20 to 40cm away from the pier. There is no need to go to the pier. Outside throw. When the gate is releasing water, small fish will swim upstream on the water surface. There are likely to be bass chasing food at the edge of the stream, so they can be thrown directly to the edge of the stream to fish.

(6) Bass fishing at the exit of the seawall gate

①Season

In the Zhoushan area, bass usually arrive in the coastal waters after the 20th day of the fourth lunar month every year Foraging for food, especially small mullet on the water surface, is best during the rainy season (June and July) and summer and autumn when the temperature begins to rise significantly.

② During the tide

The gate is better at the first rising to half-high tide, flat tide, falling tide, half-low tide and when the gate releases water. Due to the shallow water, the gate and wharf should be located at low tide or mid-tide.

③ Lure selection

You can choose Minnow to mainly attack shallow bass. If you choose a longer water blocking piece, you can use it to attack middle-level bass. If you want to attack the bottom layer, you can choose VIB, etc., but it will not pass. The body shape should not be too large, preferably 5 to 10cm in length. You can prepare more colors, such as red head and white body, multi-color laser, etc. You can also use a lead head plus soft worms for fishing. The lead head bait weighs 10 to 20 grams.

④ Fishing method

At the pier, you can directly throw the lure when the tide arrives and walk around the pier for trolling. Generally, it is 20 to 40cm away from the pier. Throw outward. When the water is released at the gate, the surface of the small fish will swim upstream. There are likely to be bass chasing food at the edge of the stream. In this way, the fish can be thrown directly to the edge of the stream to fish.

(7) Walking sea bass

①Gill washing and random drilling

Sea bass will run away desperately after being caught by fish. First, it comes out of the water to "wash the gills". The second is to drill everywhere.

"Gill washing" means jumping out of the water, opening its mouth and opening its two gills, and shaking its head violently to escape. At this time, the pole can be stroked horizontally with the tip of the pole close to the water. Try to let out as little line as possible, and wait for opportunities to reel in the line. You can change your position so that the fishing line is as perpendicular to the direction of the fish's escape as possible. When finally fishing, you should also pay attention to the angle between the fishing line and the water surface being less than 45 degrees to prevent final "gill washing".

Seabass burrows everywhere, often causing reefs to be cut off. It must be retracted and released, and never let go of the line when it's time to deadlift, which will effectively consume its physical strength. If you are drilling towards an obstacle area such as a reef, you must erect a pole to force it back.

②Force relief device

For lure sea bass, do not adjust the relief force too tightly to prevent sudden force exertion. You can adjust it a little loosely first, and then adjust it again during the fish fighting process. If necessary, hold the thread cup with your hands. Walk until it drifts sideways, then use a net to lift it ashore.

(8) How to prevent fake bait from hanging on the bottom

① Investigation

"Lead-head hook soft worm fishing group" can be used to detect the situation. The lead head hook has the characteristics of fast sinking, full water layer search and cheap price.

②Signal

It is easy for novices to regard the bottom shovel signal of contact between the tongue plate of the diving lure and the water bottom as a signal of fish attack, thereby vigorously lifting the rod and causing it to hang on the bottom. How to tell: The bass bites the bait very fiercely. After biting, it turns around and walks away. The signal transmitted to the hand has an obvious pulling feeling, but the shovel bottom signal does not have this feeling.

③What to do if the lure hangs on the bottom?

When the lure lure hangs on the bottom, avoid pulling hard. You can relax the fishing line and wait for the tide to flush the lure out of the cracks in the rocks, or change your position, or use the fishing rod to gently shake and pull in different directions. The last move is the deadlift. When deadlifting, lock the line cup and hold down the line cup holder with your hand to prevent damage to the lure wheel when exerting force. Straighten the lure rod and fishing line in the same direction, then tighten the fishing line and use explosive force to impact. The fishing line breaks.

(9) Dalian Bass Lure Fishing Method

① Direction

In the sea south of Dalian, when the south wind blows, the bass is more active, and vice versa when the north wind blows. influence, and vice versa in the northern sea area.

②Peak period

Generally, there are two bass peaks a year. The first one appears in late April and early May, and can last until about August. Starting in August, the fish on the shore As the water temperature rises, bass feel uncomfortable and move to deeper areas. The second high tide occurs from November to the end of December, because the temperature is relatively low and the water layer where bass moves is deeper.

③Ebb and flow tide

The best time is when the tide first rises, reaches half a rise, and first falls to half a low. When the streamline and the reef intersect, this fishing spot must be grasped. Fishing is deep in winter and shallow in summer. Fishing in small bays is done in large currents. The fishing point is chosen next to the reef. If there is no flow, look for a little flow, where the flow lines meet next to the stone.

Expand Lure

Lure, whose name comes from the transliteration of Lure, is a fishing method that imitates weak creatures and causes big fish to attack. This fishing method pays attention to skills and requires the comprehensive operation of rod, bait and wheel. During the whole process, fishermen are doing full-body exercises. At the same time, the lure equipment is simple, clean and environmentally friendly, which is very different from traditional fishing methods.

Explanation

A small prop with a fishhook is used to create swimming patterns (hard bait), luster (sequins), and smell (soft bait) in the water through the operation of the rod and wheel. Insects), etc., thereby attracting the attention of aggressive fish, and catching the fish when it attacks.

Origin

The term lure is still unfamiliar to many people. It is the name of artificial bait in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions of my country. The spelling of artificial bait in English is LURE. Legend has it that in the early 19th century, Howden, an American fisherman, was chatting with friends by the river. He was playing with a small wood chip in his hand. He accidentally dropped the wood chip into the river, and an unknown fish immediately jumped out and took the wood chip away. This accidental incident triggered Howden's inspiration, and he invented the world's first lure. Finnish Lauri Rapala made the artificial bait even more perfect and promoted it to the world. With people's understanding of lures, the lure fishing method has been summarized based on the feeding habits and hunting methods of carnivorous fish. As a healthy sport, lure fishing is environmentally friendly and fashionable, and has always made lure fishermen proud. It is also called "water golf" by some.

Fun

There is a saying in China: "Big fish eat small fish, and small fish eat shrimps."

Lure fishing applies the laws of the natural food chain. Lure products are artificially made to simulate lifelike natural small fish, shrimps, insects, etc. in the water to attract fish to attack. At the same time, it also makes use of the fish's own physiological induction. , designed many strange-shaped lures that use sound, light, and color to lure fish to attack. This has also become one of the fun for lure players when making DIY lures.

There is no concept of floats and sinkers in lure fishing. Lure fishing is not about throwing the lure into the water and waiting for the fish to take the bait. Instead, the fisherman controls the stalk to give the lure in the water different traction and dragging forces, causing it to show various types of fleeing, struggling, and convulsions in the water. and other forms to attract target fish to attack.

Features

Different from traditional fishing, the characteristic of lure fishing is that it emphasizes actively looking for fish. This emphasis on active fishing fun upgrades the pleasure of fishing when self-judgment is consistent with the conditions of the target water area. Fishermen who like lures should read more books or audio-visual products related to the living habits of fish, and collect and organize more data during the fishing process. The more experience accumulated, the more efficient the attack will be when entering a new fishing spot. will be higher.

Types

Common lure baits are divided into two types: hard bait and soft bait:

Hard baits include suspended minnows (Minnow), wave picks (wave baits) Popper, Crank, Pencil, VIB (Rattlin), Spoon, wire bait, spinner, etc.

2. Soft baits include grubs, twintails, worms, crawls, lizards, centipedes and frogs. ), soft fish (shad), strong noise type (bearded male buzzbait), etc.

There are three common ways to match lure fishing tackle:

1. Straight handle rod with spinning wheel.

2. The gun handle is equipped with a water drop wheel.

3. The gun handle is equipped with a drum.

Fishing rods

Classification

Lure rods can generally be divided into: straight handle rods and gun handle rods. The difference between the two lies in the grip type and wire guide type, and the reels used are also different. Fishing rods are usually divided into two sections for easy portability. Of course, there are also single-section, multi-section and telescopic types.

Fishing Rod Marking

SC—602ML Lure 1/8~3/8oz Line 5~10Ib; SC represents the model, the number 60 represents the rod length of 5250px, and the number 2 represents the number of sections. ML indicates the characteristics of the fishing rod: medium and light weight. Lure 1/8~3/8oz is expressed as: the weight of the lure used in the fishing rod is: 3.5-10.5g weight, Line 5~10Ib is expressed as the practical fishing line for the fishing rod is 5-10 pounds, which is equivalent to No. 1.5-2.5 nylon line.
