Acceleration mode: When the accelerator pedal is depressed, the air flow into the cylinder increases rapidly, and the ECM increases the pulse width of the fuel injector and increases the fuel injection quantity. The fuel demand is determined according to throttle position (TP), coolant temperature (ECI), intake manifold pressure (MAP) sensor and engine speed, and the system is temporarily in an open-loop operation state. 5. Deceleration mode: In deceleration fuel mode, the engine control module (ECM) enters the open-loop control state, reducing the pulse width of fuel injector and fuel supply, thus reducing emissions and fuel consumption and increasing engine braking.
