Why can't cycads raise single cycads?

Cycas can be raised alone, but for those who are taboo, they usually choose to raise in pairs, which is also an auspicious number.

There are some tips for raising cycads:

Cycas like iron. Cycas containing iron can really grow black and shiny, not only Cycas, but also many plants that like acid, but Cycas are even worse.

Plants can only absorb organic iron in the form of ferrous ions. Iron is a necessary condition for chlorophyll formation. Therefore, when iron is deficient, chlorophyll cannot be formed, and the veins of young leaves lose their green color first, showing yellow leaf disease. When iron deficiency is severe, the young leaves are almost white. In the alkaline state of soil, iron is insoluble and difficult to be absorbed by plants. You can see two things:

Cycas need iron, but the amount needed is not much. A very small amount of iron filings will form ferrous ions, which will be absorbed and utilized by plants.

Only in acidic soil can plants absorb iron better. Even if there is iron, the soil is alkaline and iron cannot be effectively used.
