The root of this legend is that Yongzheng did execute many people, such as Nian Gengyao, and Yin Gui's younger brother died inexplicably, and because the official gentry's grain harvest moved the interests of a group of people, it had a certain impact on Yongzheng's reputation.

Yongzheng assassination mainly offended some literati! The "literary inquisition" appeared in the middle and late Kangxi period, but it did not relax at all during Yongzheng period, and the Qianlong period continued. The legendary emperors Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong all died of natural causes, mainly because Qianlong died at the age of 87 and had abdicated early.
