Mechanism of Acupuncture Therapy —— Point-through Acupuncture
1 Meridian acupoint penetration: needle is inserted from one acupoint, and it penetrates into the acupuncture point of the same meridian upward or downward.
Waiguan overdraft ditch: it is mainly used for fever, headache, tinnitus, hypochondriac pain, shoulder and arm pain and upper limb numbness.
Intermittent penetration of Neiguan and Daling: Indications are heartache, fright, epilepsy, vomiting, epigastric pain, limb contracture and swelling.
Zusanli deficiency: mainly used for dyspepsia, diarrhea with bowel sounds, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, intestinal carbuncle.
Zusanli head deficiency: indications are breast abscess, flaccidity and weakness of lower limbs, and joint pain.
Qi Hai Tou Guan Yuan: Indications include low back pain, enuresis, impotence, premature ejaculation, amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea.
Upper abdominal abscess: indications: weakness of spleen and stomach, stagnation of middle qi.
2 different acupoints: once the needle is inserted into one acupoint, it will pierce multiple acupoints, or pierce other acupoints from one acupoint.
One needle penetrates five points: from Quchi, acupuncture Akazawa, Qu Ze, Shaohai and Xiaohai. Indications are diarrhea and arthropathy.
Sunlight penetrating Shimonoseki: Indication of facial trigeminal neuralgia.
Wind blowing through the pupil: an indication of facial trigeminal neuralgia.
Underground compartment cheek car: mainly used for facial trigeminal neuralgia, stroke facial paralysis, aphasia, salivation and closed teeth.
Sanyang Tongluo: Indications for apoplexy and upper limb paralysis.
Yanglingquan Touyin Lingquan: Indications for stroke and lower limb paralysis.
