The Three Elements of a Yangzhai
The door, the main house, and the stove are the three elements of a Yangzhai, and the relationship between the three is crucial. The door mainly refers to the main door in and out of the house, and generally represents external relations; the main hall (the tallest house in a single-family courtyard structure) represents the owner of the Yangzhai; the stove represents the mistress of the Yangzhai and the wealth of the family, and the five elements of the three are in harmony with each other. The combination of yin and yang is auspicious, and the mutual restraint, double yin and double yang are unlucky.
Kanyu School
Kanyu School divides the building plane into twenty-four equal parts, called twenty-four mountains, and each mountain occupies fifteen degrees.
The three mountains in the north, Ren, Zi, and Gui, belong to Kan Gua the day after tomorrow, and the Kun Gua innately; the three mountains in the northeast, Chou, Gen, and Yin, belong to Gen Gua the day after tomorrow, and the Zhen Gua innately;
