On September 27th, a geographical indication investigation team composed of the Ministry of Agriculture and China Academy of Agricultural Sciences visited Langzhong. Accompanied by relevant personnel from the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Sheng Songhua, Director of the Geographical Indications Department of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture, led experts to inspect the Chuanmingshen Improved Seed Breeding Base in Wuma Township, Langzhong City, Sichuan Mulan County Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and some products, spoke highly of the use and management of geographical indications of agricultural products in Langzhong City, and put forward guiding opinions.
It is reported that in order to promote the development of Langzhong Chuanmingshen, one of the iconic products, the city's agricultural bureau has scientifically planned, rationally laid out and adjusted its structure, and gradually formed an agricultural industrial belt with advantages and benefits of Chuanmingshen, with more obvious location advantages and more prominent regional characteristics. At the same time, in strict accordance with the "Technical Regulations for the Production of Pollution-free Agricultural Products of Chuanmingshen" and the "Technical Regulations for the Standardized Production of Chinese Herbal Medicines", focusing on towns such as Qianfo and Wuma, we will focus on building demonstration films of Chuanmingshen and set up a standardized production demonstration base of 1.2 million mu, which will drive the radiation of 20 surrounding towns. Langzhong Chuanmingshen (alias Adenophora adenophora) is produced in Thousand Buddhas, Hefeng, Wangya, Sanmiao, Zhan Feng, Laoguan, Longquan, Xishan, Jinzi, Erlong, Jieyuan, Shitan, Liangshui, Siyi, Mulan, Qiaolou, He Lou, Beimen, Zaobi and Dongxing in Langzhong City, Sichuan Province. Langzhong is a national ecological demonstration city, which is located in the hilly area on the northern edge of Sichuan Basin, the north of Nanchong City and the middle reaches of Jialing River. Geographical coordinates are between10541'-10624' in east, 3 1'-3 1 5 1' in north, and it borders Bazhong, Yilong and Western Union in the east.
Natural ecological environment and human and historical factors
(1) Soil landform: Langzhong City is hilly with both hills and low mountains, which can be divided into four landforms: low mountain and narrow valley, high hill and middle valley, middle hill and wide valley, and shallow hill with dam. There are "one river and four rivers" in the city, 169 small rivers with an area of 9080 hectares. Jialing River is 45km long, and Donghe River, Xihe River, Baixihao River and Gouxi River are149.35km long. Only Jialing River, Donghe River and Baixihao transit water, with a flow of 24.03 billion cubic meters.
There are abundant groundwater reserves, with a total reserve of 58.33 million cubic meters, of which 26.72 million cubic meters can be developed, with a per square kilometer 1.38 million cubic meters and 40.9 cubic meters of cultivated land per mu. The water quality is clear and pure, which is the ideal water for industrial and agricultural production and life, and creates good conditions for the large-scale production of Langzhong Chuanmingshen.
(3) Climate: Langzhong City belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, with mild climate, abundant rainfall, suitable for planting in four seasons and abundant light, heat and water resources. The climate is warmer and the vertical zoning is obviously different. According to the ancient ruins excavated by archaeologists in Lanjiaba, north of the city, it is proved that human beings lived in the Neolithic Age and engaged in fishing, hunting, agriculture and other production activities. Langzhong was the capital of Pakistan during the Warring States Period. Langzhong County has a history of more than 2,300 years since it was established by Qin in 365,438+04. As early as the Qin and Han Dynasties, it was a traffic fortress that entered Shu from the Qin Dynasty. Bashan in the east and Xiongguan in the west. Jialing River runs through the north and south, up to Guangyuan and Bikou, down to Chongqing and Shanghai. Langzhong Chuanmingshen, commonly known as Radix Adenophorae and talinum, is an Umbelliferae herb with similar curative effect and health care function as wild ginseng. According to Langzhong County Medicine, Langzhong Chuanmingshen has been cultivated artificially for hundreds of years. After several generations of cultivation and propagation, its characters are excellent and stable. However, due to its scarce quantity and unknown effective components, only the Sichuan Standard for Chinese Herbal Medicine recorded its medicinal properties.

Sichuan Mingshen standardized technology cultivation and industrial development projects are also listed as national spark plan projects. In addition, the special processing method of Langzhong Chuanmingshen applied for the national patent, which improved the production and management level of Langzhong Chuanmingshen.
