The process of making a wish in a temple

You should pay attention to making wishes to buddhas and bodhisattvas. The wishes you need should be as reasonable as the law, usually about yourself or someone you love. Whether seeking money, proposing marriage or seeking peace, we must have a respectful and sincere heart. Whether you succeed or fail, you should not be demanding. The point is to ask buddhas and bodhisattvas to help you make a choice with their wisdom, because the result you seek or want is good at present, but because we ordinary people can't predict the future development, there is a saying that honey is on the cutting edge. If you eat, you often only see honey, but you can't see the blade. If it may be harmful to me, let Buddha and Bodhisattva arrange it for me. First, the temple enters the door

There are many doors in the temple building, so you should pay attention to which door to enter. Only temples with lights are qualified to build thirteen gates. The three doors in the middle are for people to enter and leave. Business people can only enter through the left door, and the middle door is called an empty door. Only emperors, prime ministers and monks can enter and leave. When entering the door, the male guest takes his left foot first, and the female guest takes his right foot first. The bigger the step, the better. At the same time, entering the temple should follow the principle that the left door enters and the right door exits. Note: Don't step on the threshold (the threshold represents the Buddha's shoulder, so you can't step on it). And the salute to 1 and the sixth step means wholeheartedly and smoothly. Second, the principle of wishing to worship Buddha. You must wash your hands before you worship Buddha. An item cannot be called "buy", but "please". Ordinary people should hold incense in their left hand (the right hand is unclean, and ordinary people often kill things with their right hand). Three wicks pray for themselves, six wicks pray for two generations and nine wicks pray for three generations. Thirteen is an extreme, and thirteen wick incense is a high fragrance of complete merit. Burn incense before kowtowing. Hold incense in your left hand and candles in your right. When burning incense, first light the incense with your own fire, the more prosperous, the better, and the fragrance is strong. Left hand on the top, right hand holding incense on the bottom, bow your head. After bowing, put the incense in the incense ashes and you can kowtow at the door. Look for Buddha, Bodhisattva or Lohan when kowtowing. For example, you can't kowtow to Tibetan Bodhisattva. It is advisable to burn three sticks of incense, which means "abstinence, determination and wisdom" without omission; It also means to support Buddhism, Buddhism and monks to live in the three treasures. This is the most complete and civilized incense offering. There is not much fragrance, but the heart is in my heart. As the saying goes, "burn three civilized incense and respect a sincere heart." When incense enters the incense burner, it should be at a horizontal angle, indicating safety. Bowing posture: Kneel on the futon and put your hands together. Note that the palms of these hands are hollow. Hold them above your head, stop at your mouth and make a wish. Go down to your heart, meditate, then open your palm, palm up, and then lie prone. Reminder: You can only make one wish at a time. Don't be greedy and make many wishes. Remember! Third, the principle of incense

1. Light incense with your own fire; 2. Hold the incense stick with the middle finger and forefinger of both hands, and press the thumb against the incense tail; 3. Put it on your chest with the elephant head bottle facing the Buddha icon; 4. Improve Mei Qi again; 5. After that, put it down as the third action; 6. The left hand begins to insert: the first incense is inserted in the middle; The second fragrance is inserted on the right; The third candle on the left. After the incense, you should stand upright and cross your hands to worship the Buddha. If it is a circle of incense, you should point to the Buddha where it is lit, and your hands are like holding a long incense. When putting sandalwood (that is, twigs split by sandalwood), hold both ends of the incense with your thumb and forefinger. The middle finger, ring finger and little finger are all open and straight. Hold Qi Mei high and put it in the incense burner before and after: pick up the first sandalwood with your left hand and put it in with your right hand; Pick up the second branch with your right hand and send it in with your left hand; The third one is the same as the first one. The method of meditation should be the same as when burning incense. Burning incense is for support, and burning sandalwood is the best! 4. Precautions for Burning Incense There are many bodhisattvas in the temple. You can worship them one by one if you like. If time doesn't allow, burn it in front of the Ursa major. The steps are as follows: 1. Invited incense, others can't pay. 2. It is best to burn incense with your own fire (three is enough, no need to burn a lot), facing the main hall door; Holding three Qing Xiang lightly in both hands (the man's left hand is above, the right hand is below, and the woman is in the other hand), suddenly mentioning it, the burning fire immediately went out. Never blow it out with your mouth. 3. When burning incense, burn incense first and then worship. Three sticks of incense is enough. You can worship in the stove. When you pass each Buddhist temple, you can cross your hands and worship three times. 4. Hold the incense to your forehead, close your eyes and make a wish, and then worship three times. (The height of holding incense cannot be lower than the lower body) 5. Turn right and face east (usually the door of the main hall faces south), make a wish in the third step, worship three times and then face south and north. After the worship, you can insert the incense into the incense burner. Note: burn incense with your left hand, because the right hand kills people, and the left hand should be relatively peaceful. You shouldn't throw it into the incense burner. Reminder: don't burn incense when female friends come to their holidays, remember. 7. Burning incense in the temple is to light your heart, and lighting a lamp is to light your heart. At this time, you can get the blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattva, thus gaining wisdom and so on. So you can burn one incense, two incense and three incense at most, and you don't need to burn more. 8. Three fragrances, one for Buddha, one for Dharma and one for monk; The cushion in the middle of the temple is used by family members to worship Buddha. Business people bow to men with the one on the left and to women with the one on the right. 9. Be pious and clean your hands. Don't talk loudly and say irrelevant things in the temple. Don't point your finger at the Buddha statue. You can't make a wish casually, because you must keep it; If you are not sure, don't make a wish. Don't just promise to give the Buddha something to support and then forget it. The so-called man should keep his word. 10, walk clockwise in the temple to worship Buddha, don't cross the futon, because it will give people a sense of solemnity. Don't walk in front of someone when he is praying. 1 1. If you make a wish, you have to realize it. If you don't wish, you don't have to worship. Tip: different wishes, burning incense and worshipping Buddha need to be carried out in different temples, and the stress is also different.
