Marrow Cleansing Sutra
General Meaning
When I heard this, the Buddha told Subhuti. After completing the Yi Jin Gong, you can do this.
This name is the Quiet Night Bell, which does not interfere with human affairs. During the day, I was busy with clothes and food.
After three meals, the Feng Shui fire is over. See the stars at dusk, and light up the dark room.
After finishing my homework in the evening, I was about to rest on my bed. The masses snore and sleep, forgetting life and death.
The wise man wakes up alone, and cultivates in the dark night. Caressing the body and sighing that this evening is one less day in the past.
Impermanence comes quickly, just like a fish in little water. Obviously how to save, when will the blessing and wisdom be enough?
The four favors have not been repaid, the four conditions have not been separated, the four wisdoms have not appeared, and the three lives have not been converted to one.
In the Dharma Realm, there are four births and three preparations, six roots and six dust connections, five aggregates and three paths,
celestial beings and asuras. The six paths have different trends, the two truths cannot be integrated, and the six perfections cannot be realized.
Seeing is not right seeing, and ignorance cannot cease. The Taoist eye is not shrewd and the eyebrows are not touching the ground.
How to know the separation of seeing and achieve the meaning of nirvana? If you can see the non-seeing, you can see the unreachable.
The snail's horns cover the vast world, and the anxious eyes accept Sumeru. In a drunken dream, both time and money are lost.
Wandering in life and death, the sea of suffering is boundless. The Tathagata has great compassion and performs this as marrow cleansing.
After Xuhou Yijin, every night when he is still, his eyes will contain light, his breath will be faint in his nose, and his belly will be wide and empty, which is the right time to receive Qingxi. Look at the two strings at the end of the lunar month, divide the two parts and merge into the two strings.
Ziwu observes the quiet power, and Maoyou takes a bath. Everything is created by the heart, and the spirit of refining is actually empty and quiet.
Always be cautious and don’t let the Sandman arrest you. Do this every night and practice it every day.
Only deficiency can accommodate it, but fullness is not suitable. Modesty protects the body, and evil evils should be avoided.
If you cherish the false, you can cultivate the true. The four elements must be protected. Weakness can hold the body, violence and disaster will force him.
You must use a raft to cross the river and abandon it when you reach the shore. Nature creates physics from the smallest to the smallest detail.
One word reveals the secret, and you gradually ponder it carefully. It takes a long time to achieve perfection, but it cannot be achieved overnight.
Success has a certain limit, more than three years and nine years. Take it easy for a period of time and never exceed this period.
The mind is empty and the body is free to do whatever it wants. Nothing is hindered, everything is at ease.
Saving sentient beings hidden and manifest, transcending beginninglessness with a snap of a finger. To repay the fourfold kindness, the road will be reduced forever.
When future generations obtain this sutra, it is their purpose to uphold it. Choose people to teach and receive, and don’t underestimate them.
The First Chapter of Wu Shi Zhong Qi
The universe has a perfect principle, which is difficult to understand by the ears and eyes. Anyone who can understand it belongs to Yuan Qi.
If there is no reason for Qi, there will be no luck. If there is no reason for Qi, there will be no luck. Together they become one, and they cannot be separated.
Fashion flows without interruption, and everything depends on it. Through gold and stone, water and fire can be combined.
Things that go hand in hand do not harm each other. Li and Qi are just that. There is murderous intention in the place of birth, and there is business in killing.
Li uses Qi as its function, and Qi takes Li as its body. That is to say, if the body is used to express its functions, it should be used to seek the body.
Neither body nor function, body and function cannot exist. There is no reason or anger, just one word reveals the secret of heaven.
One step at a time is primitive and has no beginning. Only when you understand its meaning can you cleanse your marrow.
Second Chapter of the Four Great Falsehoods
The vitality has been dense for a long time, turning into water, fire and earth. The water rises from the top of Kunlun and fills the four pits.
Sit quietly to generate heat, and there is a fire in the water. The moisture and heat are evaporated, which turns into rain and dew.
Being a human being and a living being, the world is filled with benefits. Water becomes earth when it becomes clear for a long time, and fire is the burning of Qi.
The human body is a small world, and nothing can compare with it. Having this phantom quality is always a matter of energy.
It was not mine in the first place, so it would be too imaginary to disband. Life has never been born, and death has never died.
When will the physical body be left? After aging, heaven and earth will come. The pretense is combined with the truth, transcending the ordinary.
By penetrating the Marrow Cleansing Meridian, you will live forever. There is no truth without falsehood, and truth and falsehood are boundless.
It should be viewed in this way, true and false are indistinguishable. The four false forms are in harmony, who can distinguish them?
The Third Chapter of Mortal Saints Returning Together
Ordinary people pretend to be real, wearing beautiful clothes as body decoration, and only serving others' opinions. Food comes day after day,
Everyone does. Busy with everything, no time to think about life and death. I am always attracted by fame and fortune, and I lose all my energy in one day. When the oil ran out, the lamp went out, and the body was buried in the wilderness. Captured in a frightened dream,
Thousands of hardships and hardships, the illusion never rests. The sage alone is serious, wears commoner clothes and eats vegetables.
He is not greedy and only maintains himself. How can he be tired of body and mouth? See through heaven and earth, and be one with me.
Although the body may be different in size, there is no difference in flexibility. There are sun and moon in heaven and earth, and the human body has two eyes.
The sun and moon are dim and bright, and the stars and lamps are one after another. Even if the star lamp goes out, the nature of seeing will never disappear.
As a blind man, he reached out and touched his nose. There are eyes all over the body, and you can know things by touching them.
This is the spirit of the heart, which encompasses heaven and earth. It can see but not with eyes, and can hear but not with ears.
If the mind can be pure, it will not be driven by cravings and desires. Know your original place and return to where you came from.
Ordinary people and saints have horizontal eyes and long noses. They come from the same place and return to different places, because they are so different from each other.
If you can calm down and think about life and death. Take advantage of this time to get fit and work hard.
The marrow is cleansed and restored to its original state, and all the saints are reunited.
The fourth chapter of the unity of things and me
All things are not all things, they are one with me. Illusion of various forms to assist in business.
Someone must have things for clothing and food. Food, bait, and utensils are all missing.
Flying, diving, animals and plants, all kinds of things are used by humans. Good fortune thinks of He Hong, and he kills indiscriminately and becomes violent.
Mayflies and mosquitoes and flies are like life and death. Turtles, cranes, mias, and deer eat less and are still convinced.
How can people be inferior to things for many years? They are only greedy for food and clothing, forgetting life and death.
You can never give up your cravings. Things and I are all the same.
Part 5 of Walking, Standing, Sitting and Reclining
Walking as if blind without a stick, meditating internally to illuminate the nature points, raising the feet low and steamed, only by being steadfast can we make further progress.
This is true every step of the way, and be careful not to rush forward at all times. The world is busy and mistakes are made, so take your time to ensure peace.
Staying is like a horse on a cliff, or like a boat arriving at the shore. The light returns quickly, recognizing the place to stand.
Remain mindful of what is important and do not engage in external affairs. When you reach a stop, you should know where to stop and pay attention to the empty valley.
Don’t lean when you stand, and your body will be straight and stable. The ears and eyes follow the calm mind, the water is still and the mirror is clear.
Things may come one after another, but they are all final now. Sitting as heavy as Qiu Mountain, upright and solemn.
Close your mouth and hide your tongue deeply, and breathe in and out through your nose. Rest in peace and return to Yuanhai, full of energy and self-sufficiency.
Strength the bones and harmonizes the marrow, and enter trance first. Lying down like a skip-shaped curve, you can move left and right as you like.
The knees are often uneven and the feet are like hooks. Both hands are often placed on the abdomen, touching the navel and touching the lower body.
When the testicles are rubbed, it is like a dragon playing with a pearl. When you are tired, sleep on your side, and you will not feel lost in your sleep.
Stretch your legs when you wake up, and don’t hesitate to look up. The dream and sleep are the same, and the nine years represent reality.
Beyond the barrier of life and death, it is the ultimate intention of the Tathagata. Walking, standing, sitting and lying down, this is the true meaning.
Chapter 6 of Marrow Cleansing and Restoration
After completing the Yijin Gong, you will become a diamond body. External pathogenic factors cannot invade, and food and drink should not be accumulated.
I am afraid that my seven emotions will be hurt and my soul will not be able to control myself. Although it has the appearance of vajra, it is still driven by flesh and blood.
It is necessary to cleanse the marrow meridian, eat less and take in more energy. Take a dry foam bath and massage the eyes and nose.
If you touch your face and twist your ears, you don’t have to count them. Close your eyes and watch your nose frequently, close your mouth and let your nose breathe.
The degree is dark and harmonious, and the body and mind are calm. At five o'clock every day, spit out the turbidity and absorb the clearness.
Take relief as soon as you open your eyes. Do not indulge in a deep sleep. Sit in the lotus position on a thick mattress, loosen the ties around your waist.
Wrap your right knee over your left knee, and adjust your breath with your tongue touching your palate. Use the flanks and abdomen to move the tail, shake the shoulders and push the abdomen with hands.
Press and lift apart, hold firmly and press both knees. It goes in and out of the nose, and goes into the bottom of the sea.
If there is fluid, then swallow it and send it into the abdomen with your mind. Knocking on the teeth and sounding the heavenly drum, covering the navel with both hands.
Stretch out your feet and pull your toes, breathing in and out for sixty-six breaths. Massage with both hands and sit in lotus position for a long time.
Stand up straight and step your feet. After the marrow cleansing is completed, stand up slowly and move steadily.
There may be mistakes in being busy, so taking things slowly is the rule. Three years and nine years, calm down and purify worries.
The bones are more in harmony with the marrow, and the shell is shed and the body flies away. Gradually the sky becomes cloudy, and finally the earth finally becomes clear.
That is to say, the verse says: If you speak less in your mouth, have less things on your mind, and eat less in your belly, you will naturally sleep less.
With these four things, you will live forever.
Now that the guidance of anterior proximal massage has been applied to the outside, the blood vessels are all smooth and the limbs are strong. If you can harmonize the breath and transport it down to the sea of qi and rise to the level of Nijiu, then the qi will be harmonious and the mind will be calm. Water and fire will have the effect of harmonizing each other, and you will be able to fully cultivate and nourish yourself. Other Taoist techniques of subduing qi, unless they are authentically taught orally, will be of no benefit but harm. Now I have chosen two techniques of adjusting the breath and countercurrent of the Yellow River which are non-destructive and beneficial. They can be used anytime and anywhere to help with internal energy. They are appended below.
This is a branch of external skills. It points out that internal skills know the choice. In fact, twelve sections have been prepared. In your spare time every day, you don't have to be fixed on Ziwu. Choose a moment to calm your mind and relax. Sit cross-legged, loosen your belt, straighten your body, hold your hands firmly, close your eyes and mouth, and concentrate on one thought.
Look inward with both eyes, tap your teeth thirty-six times, put your tongue against the roof of your mouth, wait until the fluid is produced, rinse your mouth with a drum, swallow it gurglingly, look inward with your eyes, and send it straight to the Dantian two inches below the navel.
Think again and look at the Dantian, as if there is hot air. It is as gentle as holding a bowel movement. The hot air is transported to the Tail Lu, from the Tail Lu to the Shenguan, and from the Jiaji Pun. It rises to the Tianzhu, and rises to the Niwan from the jade pillow. After a short pause, touch the tongue to the roof of the mouth, and then descend the Magpie Bridge, Chonglou, Jianggong, Navel Chakra, Qi points, and Dantian from the divine court.
According to the ancient immortal saying: Jiaji doubles as a gate through the top of the head, and this is the path to practice. From Tongtian Valley above to Tulu, we must realize that this is the road for the heart and kidneys, and a place where water and fire are both harmonious. In order to access this orifice, you must first think about the roots of the mountain, and then the breath of breath will temporarily pass through the Jiujiu through the mud, penetrate the Hunyuan, and directly reach the Mingmen. It means that ordinary people's breath goes down from the throat to the middle of the abdomen and back; if a person's breath goes up from the Mingtang to the Jiaji, it flows through the Mingmen. This is slightly different from the previous description, but Yanjin is where one's own Qi comes out, so Cunxiang rises from Weilu to Nijiu, while the ancient immortal inhales the Qi of heaven and earth, from the root of the mountain to Nijiu, directly to the Mingmen.
The causes of disease in the five internal organs, errors in disease identification, and secrets of rabbit disease are excerpted by category. So that you know what to be wary of before you get sick; and when you are sick, you know what to treat. The spleen and stomach are the foundation of health, so you should be careful when eating.
The heart (shaped like an unopened lotus stamen, with seven holes and three hairs in it, located at the fifth vertebra of the back, all internal organs are connected to the heart)
Belongs to fire and is strong in In April and May of summer, the color is mainly red and the taste is bitter. The external orifices of the human body are connected to the tongue, and the juice is produced as sweat. The seven emotions govern sorrow and joy, and the body governs the blood and veins. What is hidden is God, what is hated is heat. A person with a red face has a hot heart, a person who likes to eat bitter food has a weak heart, and a person who is dull and forgetful has a weak heart. The heart is sick, the tongue is burnt and bitter, the throat cannot recognize the five flavors, is irritable for no reason, has sores in the mouth and smells bad, and the palms and soles are hot.
The liver (shaped like a hanging beetle, with seven leaves, three on the left and four on the right, located at the ninth vertebra of the back and the ninth vertebra in the middle of the back)
Belongs to wood. It flourishes in spring and February, with green color and sour taste in the liver. The external orifice opens into the eyes, and the juice is released as tears. The seven emotions govern anger, and the body governs tendons and claws. What they control is blood, what they hide is soul, and what they hate is wind. Liver disease causes blurry eyes, red and itchy corners of the eyes, cold tears, green tendons under the eyes, drowsiness and fear, as if someone is about to catch you. A bluish complexion means that the liver is full, a person who likes to eat sour food has a liver deficiency, a person who is timid has a liver deficiency, and a person who is angry often has a liver deficiency.
The spleen (shaped like a sickle, attached to the stomach, moves to wear away the water and grains in the stomach)
It belongs to earth, flourishes in the four months of the year, is mainly yellow in color, and has a sweet taste. The external orifice opens into the mouth, and the juice is produced as saliva. The seven emotions govern thinking, while the body governs muscles. What is hidden is ambition, what is evil is wetness. People with a yellow complexion have a weak spleen, and people who like sweet foods have a weak spleen. If the spleen is diseased, the patient will have a weak mouth, no desire to eat, excessive salivation, and muscle weight loss.

It belongs to gold and flourishes in the seventh and eighth months of autumn. It is mainly white in color and has a pungent taste that enters the lungs. The external orifice is in the nose, and the juice is discharged as tears. The seven emotions govern happiness, the body governs fur, and the Qi governs it. What is hidden is soul, what is hated is cold. A pale and bloodless complexion indicates dry lungs; a red right cheek indicates lung heat; shortness of breath indicates lung deficiency; and a fear of cold in the vest indicates lung evil. Lung disease causes coughing, qi reversal, nasal congestion, frequent runny nose, dry and itchy skin.
The kidneys (shaped like sword beans, there are two, one on the left and one on the right, with the gate of vitality in the middle, which is where men store sperm and women connect cells, located at the fourteenth vertebra of the lower back, opposite to the navel Attached to the waist)
It belongs to water, flourishing in the tenth and eleventh months of winter, its color is mainly black, and its salty taste enters the kidneys. The external opening is in the ear, and the juice is produced as saliva. The seven emotions govern the desire, and the body governs the bones and teeth. What is stored is essence, what is evil is dryness, a dark and haggard complexion is associated with kidney failure, tooth movement and pain is associated with nephritis, closed ears and tinnitus are associated with kidney deficiency, dim pupils in the eyes are associated with kidney deficiency, and frequent impotence is associated with inactivity. The kidneys are also weak. Kidney disease, waist disease, cold knees and foot pain or numbness, dizziness when squatting, bone aches due to weight loss, wind and pain below the navel, low waist and difficulty in bending and extending.
