Application scenario: S-band radar is suitable for detecting large-scale disastrous weather, such as large-scale rainstorm, typhoon and other weather. X-band radar is more suitable for detecting low-altitude disastrous weather with small scale and height of 0.0 1km-3km, such as tornado, ice incense and other natural disasters.
Resolution: The radial resolution of X-band radar is 75m, and that of S-band radar is 1km.
