The correct maintenance method is the foundation to ensure the normal use of the basketball court wooden floor. The stadium wooden floor has large investment, difficult maintenance and high cost. Whether the maintenance method is correct or not will directly affect the use effect and service life of the wooden floor. Daily maintenance should be done as follows:

1. Waxing is strictly prohibited for the sports floor. According to wood products, waxing is the best general method to protect the wooden floor. However, the sports floor has strict requirements on the surface friction coefficient. If the surface of the wooden floor is too smooth, athletes will easily slip on the soles of their feet due to the reduction of friction during sports, which will affect the normal competitive level. In serious cases, slip accidents will occur. Therefore, the maintenance of the painted surface of the wooden floor of the sports ground is not waxing, but extinction (using special machinery to remove the gloss of the painted surface or using special matting agent to remove the oily gloss). If a certain area is rubbed by the soles for a long time and the painted surface is polished, resulting in the reduction of friction of the wooden floor in this area, it must be extinction.

2. It is forbidden to use solvent-based oil products to clean the wooden floor. Solvent-based oil products include gasoline, kerosene, alcohols, esters and other products that dissolve the paint surface. Because solvent-based products will damage the floor paint, it will also reduce the friction coefficient of the paint surface and increase the smoothness, which will affect the normal use of the floor.

3. The floor ventilation holes, expansion joints, sports equipment installation parts, etc. should be cleaned regularly and not blocked. They can be cleaned by blowing with a vacuum cleaner or an air compressor. If the dust accumulates too much, the department is prone to mildew, insects and blockage. Clean the surface of the wooden floor regularly with a vacuum cleaner every day, wipe the surface of the wooden floor with a wringing mop, and increase the wiping times in the dry season to ensure the proper air humidity in the venue.
