The earliest meteorological record
Some Oracle bones were unearthed in the ancient capital of Yin Dynasty (now Anyang County, Henan Province), and there were some records on them: "It doesn't snow, it doesn't rain; It's already raining, and it's raining heavily. These records explain the start and end dates of some rain and snow. It can be seen that China paid attention to weather changes more than 3,000 years ago. This is the earliest meteorological record in the world.
Since the Han Dynasty, there have been records of drought, severe cold, frost and snow, hail and so on in China ancient history books and local chronicles. Our ancestors not only paid attention to the superficial observation of meteorology, but also tried to explore its internal laws in order to make some short-term weather forecasts.
