What does Guo Puzhi mean?

Guo Pu's theory refers to Feng Shui.

Guo Pu (276-324), with pure words. He was born in wenxi county, Hedong County (now Wenxi, Shanxi Province). Famous litterateur, exegetist and geomantic scholar in the Jin Dynasty, son of Guo Yuan, the prefect of Jianping.

Guo Pu learned a lot since he was a child, and he studied divination with Duke Guo of Hedong. Emperor Jin and Yuan worshipped Zuo Lang and wrote History of Jin with Wang Yin. Later, he joined the army as a general Wang Dun's clerk, and was killed by auguring ill to dissuade Wang Dun from rebellion. After the Wang Dun Rebellion was pacified, he was posthumously awarded the Governor of Hongnong. When Song Huizong chased Wen Xibo, Yuan Shundi sealed Ling Ying Hou.

Guo Pu was the most famous alchemist in the Jin Dynasty. It is said that he was good at foretelling prophets and many strange alchemies. He is good at ancient prose, strange characters, good at astronomy, calendar calculation and divination, and good at prose, especially the famous "Poem of Wandering Immortals".

Guo Pu is good at prose, and he has annotated the Zhouyi, Shan Hai Jing, Buried Jing, Biography of Mu Tianzi, Dialect and Chu Ci, and Guo Pu's annotation can be found in Ci Hai and Ci Yuan written by modern people.
