The Lingding Ocean mentioned in the poem is now the Lingding Ocean in Zhuhai. This ocean is about 65 kilometers wide and has a water area of about 2,100 square kilometers. Among the "City of One Hundred Islands" in Zhuhai, Guishan Island is not the most famous. For unknown reasons, this place was once named "Garbage Tail Island". Guishan Island is not far from Zhuhai. It takes about 50 minutes by boat from Xiangzhou Port. The island basically retains its original style, which is simple, tranquil and quiet. The island is not big, there are not many artificial traces, and there is no strong commercial atmosphere.

The statue is at the commanding heights and has become a landmark on the island.
In the winter of 1279 AD, the captured Southern Song Prime Minister Wen Tianxiang was escorted across Lingdingyang by the Yuan army commander Zhang Hongfan. Zhang Hongfan asked him to write a letter to persuade the famous anti-Yuan officials who were still resisting in the Yamen area of Xinhui to surrender. Zhang Shijie. Wen Tianxiang immediately refused and wrote "Crossing the Lingding Ocean".
The landing site of the Guishan Heroes is another historical and cultural landscape on the island. In February 1954, in order to commemorate the soldiers who died in the Battle of Wanshan, the battle to liberate the Wanshan Islands, the Zhuhai County People's Committee engraved "Guishan Heroic Landing Site 195 AD" on a huge stone wall by the seaside at the landing site. In order to retain these gifts of the sea forever, Wanshan Island has pioneered the harmless treatment model of domestic waste off-island nationwide, collecting, transporting, compressing and packaging domestic waste from island towns and villages on the island. It is transported to the urban area by sea and then transferred to the Xikengwei garbage disposal site for harmless treatment.
