Shenzhen, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, is also called Pengcheng. It is a sub-provincial city, a city with separate plans, and a megacity in Guangdong Province. It is also a China Special Economic Zone, a national economic center city, an international city, a scientific and technological innovation center, a regional financial center, and a trade and logistics center approved by the State Council.

Climate:

Shenzhen is located in the south-central coast of Guangdong Province, northeast of the Pearl River Estuary, with low latitude, a subtropical monsoon climate with long summer and short winter, mild climate, abundant sunshine and rainfall. Affected by the monsoon, the southeast wind prevails in summer, with monsoon depression, tropical cyclone patronage, high temperature and rainy weather.

The northeast monsoon prevails in other seasons, with dry weather and mild climate.
