How Dendrobium raises the geomantic omen of Dendrobium
Cultivation method of Dendrobium Dendrobium is native to tropical and Pacific islands in Asia. In the natural state, it is mostly attached to the trunk or rock in the forest. Sex likes warm and humid, not cold-resistant, half-cloudy and afraid of direct sunlight.
Potted plants mostly adopt soilless culture. The substrate is usually cultivated with coarse peat, pine bark, brick residue, coarse yellow sand, perlite and charcoal blocks. The roots should be well ventilated and properly moisturized.
1. Lighting: The original environment of Dendrobium candidum is generally in the shade and shade. The planting environment needs moderate shading.
2. Temperature: Dendrobium candidum stopped growing below 5℃ and began to hibernate. When the temperature is too low, pay attention to freezing injury, and it is best to keep it above 0℃. If the temperature is too high, the growth will stop around 35℃, and the most suitable growth temperature is around 25℃~30℃.
3. Substrate: The substrate with good air permeability and good drainage should be selected as the planting material for Dendrobium candidum. It is generally recommended to plant with a mixture of sapphire+granular peat+bark. However, due to large-scale production, the cost is relatively high, and a single bark can also be used as a substrate.
Humidity: equipped with a hygrometer, it is best to keep the humidity above 60%. In rainy weather, when the humidity is above 90%, ventilation should be strengthened to prevent bacteria from happening.
5. Water supply mode and water quality: Qin Ying spray, less sprinkling. Generally, wait until the substrate is dry before showering.
6. Ventilation: "Ventilation in Gui Lan": Air circulation is very important for Dendrobium candidum, which can also reduce the occurrence of diseases. Air circulation is equally important to the roots in the substrate, so we suggest using granular materials, and watering must be thorough to make fresh air enter the substrate.
Fertilization method: use microelement compound fertilizer. Apply thin fertilizer frequently, and never use heavy fertilizer, otherwise it will cause fat damage. When sprouting in spring every year, slow-release fertilizer can also be applied as base fertilizer.
Dendrobium is not only for ornamental purposes, but also an excellent Chinese medicine for nourishing and moistening the throat. Among the medicinal Dendrobium, Dendrobium candidum (also known as Dendrobium candidum) produced in Huoshan County, Anhui Province is particularly precious. However, due to the special growth environment, the yield of Dendrobium is very small. When selecting Dendrobium, we should observe its color, shape, smell and chew its gum. The color of iron is top grade; The shape is tightly rolled, and there are many circles in the roll; Dendrobium has a strong fragrance, and chewing gum is mostly superior. Among them, fragrance is the most important criterion for evaluating Dendrobium. In addition, the quality of Dendrobium can also be seen from its unit weight. The heavier the unit weight, the better the quality. However, due to the limited output and high price of Dendrobium candidum, the market is full of Dendrobium candidum posing as aquatic plants, especially pharmacies. Only a few authentic Dendrobium candidum brands, such as Dendrobium candidum from Fulinmen and Tongrentang (the price is slightly higher, about 1.5 times of the former), can you buy the real Dendrobium candidum.
How to Pot Dendrobium
Commonly used ramets, cuttings and tissue culture propagation.
(1) In spring, the ramets are propagated by changing pots. Lift the mother plants with dense growth out of the pot, gently break off the blue seedlings under the condition of little damage to the roots and leaves, and choose 3 ~ 4 plants to plant in the pot of 15 cm, which is beneficial to modeling and flowering.
(2) Cutting propagation: pseudobulb, which does not bloom but grows vigorously, is selected, cut from the rhizosphere, then cut into sections every 2-3 sections, directly inserted with peat moss or covered with water moss at the base of cuttings, kept moist, and can take root at room temperature of 65 438 08-22℃ for 30-40 days. Pot when the roots are 3 ~ 5 cm long.
③ Shoot tips and leaf tips are often used as explants for tissue culture. On the MS medium supplemented with 2,4-D 0.1.5 ~ 0.5mg/L and 6- benzylamino adenine 0.5 mg/L, the differentiation rate can reach about 1: 10. The differentiated buds are transferred to a container containing activated carbon. Coconut milk can grow normally in MS medium (adding 0. 1 mg/L of 2,4-4-D and 6- benzylamino adenine) and form rootless seedlings. Transplanting seedlings to MS medium containing 0.2 ~ 0.4 mg/L IBA can induce them to take root and form complete plants with roots, stems and leaves.
Artificial planting
The artificial cultivation of Dendrobium candidum has made a breakthrough. At present, China's artificial cultivation is mainly distributed in Pu 'er, Dehong, Yunnan and Tiantai, Zhejiang. The first enterprise to explore the artificial tissue culture seedlings and natural growth and semi-natural cultivation techniques of Dendrobium candidum has established a cooperative doctoral workstation with Kesai Shenlong Biotechnology Development Beijing Co., Ltd. to explore the artificial tissue culture seedlings and intensive cultivation techniques of Dendrobium candidum.
Eliminate pests and diseases
Black spot disease and virus disease are often harmful, and can be sprayed with 10% antibacterial agent 40 1 acetic acid solution 1000 times. Insect pests do great harm to scale insects, and 40% omethoate EC is sprayed 2000 times.
The pathogen of Dendrobium leaf spot only harms Dendrobium leaves, and Dendrobium strains cultivated in simple greenhouses show symptoms in late August every year. At the initial stage of infection, water-soaked spots are produced on the diseased leaves, which gradually expand to form macula with inconspicuous edges. The focus is round to oval with a diameter of 0.8-3.2 cm. Conidiophore grows in the stomata on the back of the old diseased leaves, and gray-black conidia clumps can also be seen in the lower epidermis (especially in the tip part) of the diseased leaves, and the diseased spots are not obvious, which causes yellowing and defoliation of the leaves after mutual healing. The defoliation of the infected Orchid Garden generally began in 1 1 month, and by March and April of the following year, all the leaves in the severely affected areas had fallen off.
Dendrobium flower rain
Dendrobium has rich flower language: "welcome, blessing, purity, auspiciousness and happiness", which not only contains the above flower language, but also implies the father's fortitude, kindness and majesty, and also expresses the children's admiration for his father.
