Types and names of white tea
Four kinds of white tea:
Bai Hao Silver Needle, all teas made from bud heads, is characterized by fat bud heads, Bai Hao all over the body and lobular shells (that is, one flag and one cannon).
Bai Mudan, made of tea green with one bud and one leaf or one bud and two leaves, has a slightly plump bud head, obvious white hair and graceful posture.
Gongmei is made of tea green with one bud and three leaves or one bud and four leaves. The characteristics of tea are obvious: bud leaves are connected with branches and have obvious tea stems. The leaves are bigger than those in Bai Mudan, but the heart is smaller.
Shoumei is a white tea product made from the tender buds or leaves of Dabai tea, Narcissus or Quncha varieties through specific technological processes such as withering, drying and picking.
New white tea and old white tea:
According to the storage year, it is mainly divided into new white tea and old white tea.
New white tea, the newborn in white tea, has been stored for less than one year.
Old white tea is generally recognized as white tea stored for more than 3 years, which is called old white tea.
But for people who love tea, whether it is the freshness of new white tea like "the breeze and the bright moon are priceless" or the smoothness of old white tea like "hot spring lubrication and oil washing", they all like it.
Because new white tea is new, its leaves contain a lot of amino acids, so its taste is very refreshing. Moreover, the tea smells fragrant, and the new white tea is more like tender youth, full of vitality and youth, full of infinite space.
