I remember that when I was in my hometown, there were endless plains and rows of poplar trees on the roadside. In autumn, the poplar leaves turned slightly yellow and then fell. The yellow color of the poplar leaves could not be compared with that of the ginkgo, but the poplar leaves were also very beautiful. Good firewood.

There are only fields in the plains and no ancient roads. The first ancient road I took was the famous red maple ancient road - Qixiakeng. At that time, the metasequoia forest in Qixiakeng had not yet been destroyed. The half-section of red maples has always made me miss it, and I went there almost once or twice every year.

I have traveled too many ancient roads in recent years, including Huihang Ancient Road, Nanhuang Ancient Road, Hongfeng Ancient Road, Xianxia Ancient Road, Huikai Ancient Road, Hongfeng Ancient Road...as for the unknown ones I have walked countless small ancient roads, and they can be found in every corner of Zhejiang Province. The weather is very suitable for hiking the ancient roads in autumn. It is very pleasant to climb high and look far away, and to enjoy the beautiful autumn colors. Today I would like to recommend seven ancient roads suitable for enjoying autumn in Zhejiang:

1. Taizhou Nanhuang Ancient Road - a thousand-year-old ancient road with intoxicating red maples and stretches of terraced fields

Located at the junction of Tiantai and Linhai, With a history of more than 1,000 years, it is one of the best-preserved ancient maple leaf trails in China and is as famous as Xiangshan Mountain as one of the eight maple viewing bases in the country. The most beautiful time is early December. When the weather is good, you will see wonderland-level scenery. When the weather is bad, you won't see anything. It depends on your luck. The other half of the ancient road is the terraced fields, which are very spectacular. You must go and see it. Best viewing time: early to mid-December, it is recommended to drive by yourself, no tickets are required.

2. Wenzhou Wencheng Red Maple Ancient Road - Red leaves dye all over the city

It is not an ancient road, but a combination of many ancient roads in Wencheng, most of which were built in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. At present, there are more than 70 ancient red maple roads that are relatively well preserved, with more than 3,000 ancient maple trees. The most famous one is the Wencheng Assembly Ridge Red Maple Ancient Road, but there are many red maple roads in almost every town in Wencheng. Don't read those bragging on the Internet. Anyway, if you want to see the most beautiful scenery, you still need some luck. Best viewing time: mid-to-late December. It is recommended to drive by yourself. No tickets are required.

3. Fenghua Qixiakeng Ancient Trail - Metasequoia in the front section, red maples in the back section, shocking

The red maples in Qixiakeng can be enjoyed in two seasons, from the end of November to December in late autumn. In the middle of the year, and from mid-April to early May every year, the most classic route is from Hutan Village-Tangtian Village-Qixiakeng Village. The two ancient villages are connected by an ancient road. There is a redwood forest between Hutan Village and Tangtian Village, which is very beautiful. The red maples are mainly concentrated near Tangtian Village. After passing through Tangtian Village, you will reach Qixiakeng Ancient Village via the ancient road. The whole journey is about 12 kilometers. It is very Easy, everyone can do it. Best viewing time: early to mid-December, no tickets.

4. Lin'anhui Hang Ancient Road - the destination for Chulu graduation

In fact, it is also called Hanghui Ancient Road. This ancient road can truly be called a travel companion. It usually starts from Jixi, Anhui, and ends at Lin'an, Hangzhou, Zhejiang. It is also the famous Huizhou Merchant Ancient Road. It is also located in southern Anhui and has excellent autumn scenery. In autumn, the mountains are full of colors, and the scenery along the ancient road is beautiful. It is a destination not to be missed in autumn. Tickets are 70 yuan, and food and accommodation are more expensive on the Anhui side.

5. Linhai Chaliao Ancient Road - Eight Scenic Spots of Linhai among the Red Maple Trees on the Ancient Road

This is a post road from the Song Dynasty, an ancient road famous for its red maples. It is usually unknown. Almost no one cares about it. The most classic route is Shuimokeng-Shangshi-Maditou-Nangtian'an-Chaliao, which is not to be missed by outdoor enthusiasts. There are many maple trees planted on both sides of the ancient road. In early winter, the maple leaves on both sides of the ancient road are first red in frost, which is particularly beautiful. Walking on the ancient road, you will see the falling red leaves, the quiet ancient road, and your footprints. Best viewing time: early to mid-December, no tickets.

6. Lin'an Wuyue Ancient Trail - Tianchi in Western Zhejiang, alpine grassland

The ancient trail is located at the junction of Lin'an, Zhejiang and Ningguo, Anhui. There is a lake at the highest point, Tianchi in Western Zhejiang, at an altitude of 1,200 meters on the top of the mountain, with more than 800 acres of water surface, the lake is clear and blue, surrounded by gentle mountains. Climbing to the highest point - Leli Peak, you can overlook the entire Tianchi Lake in western Zhejiang. If the weather is good, the blue sky and white clouds will be reflected in the blue waves, which is a beautiful scenery. It is best to spend two days on the Wuyue Ancient Trail. You can stay near Tianchi in Western Zhejiang or camp with a tent. You can also go directly to Tianchi Scenic Area in Western Zhejiang. The ticket is 38 yuan.

7. Xianju Gongyu Ancient Trail - East China Shangri-La

Gongyu Village is the only village in Zhejiang without roads. It is called the Shangri-La in East China and one of the most classic hiking routes in Zhejiang. 1. The most classic route is the loop line from Qiankeng Village-Gongyu Village-Gongyuyan-Gongyu Village-Qiankeng Village.

There are three types of autumn colors in Gongmen. One is to climb Gongmen Rock to overlook Gongmen Village and the surrounding terraces. The second is to climb Gongmen Rock to overlook the mountains and waterfalls. The third is the red leaves on Gongmen Ancient Road, which are very beautiful.
