The Natural Resources of Yangjie Town

The forest area of the town is 87,000 mu, with a coverage rate of 30.6%. The total cultivated land area is 88,000 mu, the grazing land area is 98,000 mu, the sloping land area above 20o is about 6.5438+0.8 million mu, and the per capita cultivated land area is 6.5438+0.67 mu. Part of cultivated land has bare bedrock, poor soil fertility, extensive planting and poor harvest. The vegetation is sparse and the ecological environment is fragile. The soil is acidic and the ecological environment is fragile. The area of returning farmland to forests in the whole town is 1.67 million mu, with 25,900 mu of artificial grass planting, 74,500 mu of fruit trees 1.39 million mu of pasture, 0.20 million mu of vegetables1.400 mu of aquatic products1. The distribution of water resources in the territory is uneven. Yangjie River and Tianqiao River flow through 7 villages from the whole town, and there are 14 administrative villages with no rivers and little or no water. The town's mineral resources include coal mine, iron ore, copper mine and clay. However, the proven mineral reserves at this stage are low, which is not suitable for large-scale mining. There are no formed tourist attractions in the town, but the tourist resources that can be developed are Snake Street, Chenjiaya Cave in Xiaojianshan and Buffalo Bay Natural Lake, Xinglong Factory Rafting and Tianshengqiao Scenic Spot, Fuxian Coffin Site and Red Army Tomb.
