Jinlan Town is located 35 kilometers west of Hengyang County and is the west gate of Hengyang. It borders Da'an and Kuzong Township in the east; Jingtou Town in the south, Shuidongjiang Township in Shaodong County in the west, and Qulan Township and Huamen Town in Shuangfeng County in the north.
