Does a person have a soul after death? I really hope there is one

You are worthy of praise for having such filial piety and knowing how to be grateful to your elders.

There is a soul after death. The soul will be reincarnated according to the good and evil done while alive. Killing (animals), stealing, fornication, and harming others are all bad things. Cherish life (release life) , chanting sutras, chanting Buddha's name, and helping others are good things.

The six realms of reincarnation are the heavenly realm, the human realm, the asura realm, the animal realm, the hungry ghost realm, and the hell realm. This is what the Buddha said, but it was not created by the Buddha. The Buddha just told us the truth about the universe and life, and asked us to do good deeds and accumulate virtue, so that we can be reborn in a good place.

I hope you can understand Buddhism. "Buddhism" is the Buddha's education for all living beings in the Nine Dharma Realms, telling us all the truth.

If you want your grandparents to be very good in the next life, chant sutras, recite Buddha's name, release lives for them, and dedicate merit to them.
