The main peak of Wushaolinghai is 3562 meters high. Wushaoling is located in the central part of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province. It belongs to the southeastern end of Lenglong Ridge, the northern branch of the Qilian Mountains. It is the natural boundary between the Longzhong Plateau and the Hexi Corridor. To the east and north is the second step; at the same time, Wushaoling is also the area where the dividing line that divides my country's monsoon and non-monsoon areas, and the inflow and outflow areas passes. To the east is the monsoon area and outflow area, and to the west is the non-monsoon area. and inflow areas. Secondly, it is located at the intersection of my country's three natural areas. Topographically, it is located at the intersection of three plateaus: the Loess Plateau, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and the Inner Mongolia Plateau; in terms of climate zoning, the three major climate zones of the plateau sub-arid zone, mid-temperate sub-arid zone, and mid-temperate zone arid zone intersect in Wushaoling.
Wushaoling has always been a barrier to the management of Hexi. Anmen Village in the south of the mountain and Anyuan Town in the north of the mountain have always been camps guarded by garrison troops and defended from both sides. At the same time, its geography, topography, and climate are very complex. The surrounding Maya Snow Mountain and Leigong Mountain are both more than 1,000 meters above Wushaoling. They are covered with snow all year round and are severely cold. The cold air often invades Wushaoling, forming a severe cold air belt in the mountains standing east and west.
