4. Sanshui District
Sanshui County was established in the fifth year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty (1526), merged into Nanhai County in 1959, reestablished in 1960, and removed from the county to establish a city in 1993 , it was removed from the city and transformed into a district in 2003. 5. Gaoming District
Gaoming County was established in the 10th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1475). In 1959, it merged with Heshan County to form Gaohe County. It was reestablished in 1981 and the county was removed in 1994. It was established as a city. In 2003, it was removed from the city and established as a district. It belongs to Foshan City.
