The Historical Evolution of yujiang county County

Yujiang county County was Hanyu County in Qin and Han Dynasties. In the first year of Jin Yuankang (29 1), it was located in Jinxing County, followed by Xing 'an. Soon, it was moved from the county seat to Jinxing Township and entered Hanyu County. Anren County was established in the hometown of Jinxing County during Chen Yuanjia's reign in the Southern Dynasty (560~565). It belongs to Poyang County, abandoned in Sui Dynasty, and entered Yugan County. At that time, it was still Jinxing Township, and Anren County was not formally established until the Song Dynasty (988).

In the 3rd year of the Republic of China (19 14), it was renamed as yujiang county County because of the same name as Anren County in Hunan Province. It is named after the water surplus in Xinjiang.

1949, the county was liberated, led by Guixi Commissioner's Office, and later transferred to Shangrao Commissioner's Office.

1983 belongs to Yingtan city.
