How to operate new convertible bonds

Hello, there are two ways to purchase convertible bonds, one is to directly purchase new convertible bonds, and the other is to place shares. The participation conditions and operation steps of the two methods are somewhat different.

There is basically no threshold if you directly purchase new convertible bonds. The purchase steps are as follows: first, find the entrance to buy new bonds on the trading software or APP provided by the securities company, then select the convertible bonds you want to buy, fill in the purchase quantity, and click OK. After subscription, investors can get a matching number and then shake the number through the system. If their matching number is drawn, it means that they are eligible to buy a certain number of convertible bonds. If they fail, they can't buy. The winning results will generally be announced on T+2. If the convertible bonds win the lottery, investors need to ensure that their accounts have enough funds to deduct money before the announcement date of the lottery 16:00, and the deduction is operated by the system without their own operation.

If you want to participate in the placement of convertible bonds, the participation condition is to buy a certain number of shares before the end of the base date, which is generally the trading day before the issuance of convertible bonds. Anyone who holds the rights issue before the end of the benchmark date can participate in the placement of convertible bonds, and there is no need to shake the number, but there is a placement ratio, not as much as you want. The more shares you hold, the more convertible bonds you can buy. The specific steps are to find the consignment entrance, then enter the code of convertible bonds, fill in the subscription quantity, and then submit it for confirmation, and then ensure that there are enough funds to participate in the placement on the day of placement, and then complete the placement operation.
