Introduction to Yehe Ancient City
Dongcheng is located on the south bank of Yehe River, and Xicheng is located on a steep hill on the north bank of Yehe River. /kloc-At the beginning of the 6th century (when Zheng De was in Germany), the leader of Yehe Department, Zhu Kongge, led his troops to move south and settled in the north bank of Yehe River to establish Yehe Kingdom. I wish Kong Ge's descendants Qing Jiu and Yang inherit their ancestors' wishes, leap forward and expand their territory. 1573, they built two cities on the hills on both sides of the Yehe River. Sake lives in the west and Yangjinu lives in the east. Both brothers are called Baylor (the leader), which is the "Hulun Four Departments". At that time, the activity scope of Yehe Department was "Fengtian border and Hada in the south, Weiyuanbao border in the west, Horqin and Guoerluos in the north and Yitong River in the east." There is a saying in history that "the territory is wider, the sound of the army is everywhere, and the four sides are more afraid." However, the powerful Yeh did not stop Nurhachi from unifying the world. 16 19, Nurhachi personally recruited Ye He, and Ye He was outnumbered. The east and west cities were destroyed by the war, Yehe was destroyed, and all the people were incorporated into the Eight Banners of the Manchu Dynasty and moved to other places. The two ancient cities of Yehe, from construction to destruction, have only 46 years left.
Shang Cheng Jianfu, also known as Shanyanwo River City, is a white stone mountain city. It was built by Niyenyaka, the third son of Chukonge, the minister of Yehe, also known as Niha or Niha. Gnagni Yeka and his sons Sun Yanzhu, Nantai, Subahai and others live there. Because it is close to the north pass of the town, the Ming people call it "North Pass". Provide post offices and intermediaries to the Ma Shi market in Kaiyuan for the Nuzhen ministries in Songhua River, Heilongjiang River and Tumen River basins. From it, "stop the master", so it is called the city of commercial supervision. The plane of the ancient city is rectangular, divided into inner city and outer city. There are two city walls in the inner city, with a circumference of 640 meters, and a south gate is built in the north of the western wall. The outer city is built along the ridge, with a perimeter of 1.800 meters. The surface of the city is littered with marl pottery and cylindrical glazed pottery, as well as fragments of blue and white and multicolored porcelain of the Ming Dynasty, iron arrows, iron knives and other relics.
The ancient city of Yehe in history was built on a platform as high as 8 meters, surrounded by wooden, earth and stone walls and moats. However, due to the war, the original wooden and stone walls no longer exist, and the existing earth walls are still 2 meters high. Walking along the north wall, there is a gap, 8 meters wide, which is the north gate of the ancient city. Go uphill from here, climb up step by step and enter the city. There is a lot of rubble in the city, and there are broken tiles and carved bricks everywhere. Although the ancient city was strong in those days, it could not stop the vigorous momentum of Nurhachi's great cause of reunifying Jurchen.
