Analysis of reasonable size of good-sized rooms
Each house is composed of rooms with different functions. These rooms with different functions generally include master bedroom, secondary bedroom, guest room, study room, children's room, nanny room, gym, living room, etc. The bay depth of each room has a reasonable size. The reasonable size of each room is the basic guarantee for the suite design to meet the requirements of suitability, comfort or high comfort.
Master Bedroom
1. The minimum bay to medium size of the master bedroom is 3.6m (net 3.3m), and the minimum depth to medium size is 4.8m (net 4.5m) . This is the size that ensures the minimum applicable requirements for furniture placement and human activities (Figure 1).
2. The "comfortable" bay of the master bedroom has a mid-to-medium size of 3.9m (net 3.6m), and a mid-to-medium depth of 5.1m (net 4.8m). At this time, the placement of furniture and people's activities are more convenient and comfortable (Figure 2).
3. The "high comfort" bay of the master bedroom has a mid-to-medium size of 4.2m (net 3.9m), and a mid-to-medium depth of 7.5m (net 7.2m). At this time, the placement of furniture and people's activities will be more convenient and comfortable; not only that, at this level, the master bedroom should be equipped with a master bathroom and an entry-level closet (Figure 3). Or there is no walk-in cloakroom to make the bathroom larger and make bathing more comfortable (Figure 4).
Second bedroom
The secondary bedroom is a bedroom used by residents other than the owner. Its minimum "applicable" bay size is 3.3m (net 3.0m), and the depth is medium to medium. The size is 4.5m (net 4.2m), as shown in Figure 5. What we are talking about here are the minimum "applicable" requirements, because smaller than this size will bring inconvenience to the furniture arrangement and people's activities. That is to say, the room smaller than this size should not be designed as a bedroom, but should be designed as a study or children's room. , nanny room and other functional rooms. If the building area of the household is relatively large or very large, the secondary bedrooms will also be raised to the standards of the master bedroom in Figure 1 or Figure 2 above. At this time, the secondary bedrooms will also meet the requirements of "comfort" or "high comfort" respectively.
Guest room
Guest room is a bedroom exclusively for guests. It is usually set up in large apartments with more than three bedrooms. Its size standard should be at least the same as the second bedroom (Figure 5). Of course, if the apartment size is larger, it can also be set as the lowest "suitable" master bedroom (Picture 1) or even the "comfortable" master bedroom (Picture 2). At this time, the guest room will reach the "comfortable" or "high comfort" level respectively. requested.
Children's Room
The children's room is designed with a bay of 3.0m, a depth of 4.2m, and an area of 12.60㎡, which can meet the requirements for furniture placement and people's activities, that is, the "applicable" requirements (specific See Figure 6). Of course, if the apartment area is large enough, the size of the children's room should be as shown in Figure 5 for the secondary bedroom (span 3.3m, depth 4.5m, area 14.85m2) or the size of the master bedroom as shown in Figure 1 (span 3.6m, depth 4.8m, area 17.28m2) Design can make the children's room meet the requirements of "comfort" or "high comfort". At the same time, children will grow up. Designing children's rooms according to the secondary bedrooms or "suitable" master bedrooms can also prevent the children from changing rooms when they grow up, and still have suitable and comfortable rooms for them to use. In addition, setting up a children's room can also make the design of the residential suite more convenient. That is, the space that cannot be designed as the main bedroom, second bedroom, and guest room due to the width and depth restrictions of the household can be designed as a children's room.
Nanny's room
Houses with a floor area of 150 square meters or more should be equipped with a nanny's room, the size of which can be seen in Figure 6 for children's rooms or smaller.
Study
Houses with three or more bedrooms should have a study room. The study room is a room for the owner to study or home office (work). Since there is no need to place furniture such as a large bed (2.2m x 2.0m) and bedside tables, the size requirements are not as strict as those for bedrooms. See Figure 7 for details. It also makes the design of residential suites more convenient like a children's room. Due to the limitations of the width and depth of the house, it cannot be designed as a study room for the main bedroom, second bedroom, and guest room. Of course, Figure 7 basically only meets the "applicable" requirements for the minimum use function of the study. If the building area is large enough, the study can also be designed according to the depth dimensions of the bedrooms Figure 5, master bedroom Figure 1, and Figure 2, so that the study can reach "Comfort" or "high comfort" requirements. This also brings another benefit, that is, the study room can be changed into a bedroom at any time as needed, which increases the flexibility of room use.
Gym
Depending on the building area of the household, the gym area can be large or small. A small south balcony can be used, such as the master bedroom balcony with a bay of 4.5m, a depth of 1.8m, and a building area of 8.10㎡; a larger one can be as shown in Figure 2 of the master bedroom with a bay of 3.9m, a depth of 5.1m, and a building area of 19.89m2. The smaller one can put less smaller fitness equipment, and the larger one can put more larger fitness equipment. This is very casual and flexible. The gym can also be located in the attic level or in the semi-basement of the villa. But no matter where it is located, it must be well ventilated, otherwise it will not be effective in fitness.
Living room
1. The minimum "applicable" size of the living room should be 3.9m bay, 4.5m depth, and 17.55m2 building area, as shown in Figure 8. Please note that a living room of this size can only meet the viewing distance requirements of a 29-inch or 32-inch color TV. No matter how large the color TV is, it is only a "suitable" size.
2. The "comfortable" size requirements of the living room are roughly 4.5m in bay, 5.1m in depth, and 22.95㎡ in construction area. This size can roughly meet the viewing requirements of color TVs up to 42 inches (excluding 42 inches). distance requirements.
3. The "high comfort" size requirements for the living room are roughly 5.1m in bay, 6.6m in depth, and 33.66㎡ in construction area, as shown in Figure 9. This size can meet the viewing distance requirements of 42-inch and above color TVs (rear-projection, plasma, LCD and other flat-panel TVs) regardless of whether the TV is placed in the bay direction or the depth direction. Therefore, it is a "highly comfortable" living room size.
Family Hall
The family hall is a space only for family members to rest, talk, and communicate. It only has a large building area, especially in the upper rooms (bedrooms, children, etc.) of the split-level apartments. room, study room). It should be placed in the center of the upper room, and its size does not need to be large, generally 3.6m x 3.6m = 12.96㎡.
Restaurant
The dining room is a room where family members or family members eat with relatives and friends. Its minimum "applicable" dimensions are bay 3.3m, depth 4.5m, and building area 14.85㎡, as shown in Figure 10a. As can be seen from the picture, a dining table for 18 people and eight dining chairs is the minimum "applicable" size. In other words, the minimum bay size of a restaurant is 3.3m. No matter how small it is, it cannot be used as a restaurant.
The "comfort" or "high comfort" bay depth size of the restaurant can be designed according to 3.6m x 4.8m or 3.9m x 5.1m, see Figure 10b for details. The "comfortable" type can be converted into a dining table for ten people; the dining table for eight people can also be placed to make the space more spacious; the "high comfort" type can not only be converted into a dining table for ten people, but also a refrigerator or even a bar counter can be placed in it, so it is " "High comfort".
Door bucket or foyer
Door buckets should be installed in apartments of 80㎡ or above (excluding 80㎡). It is the transition space into the indoor space and should be decorated with a beautiful shape. The door cover is called the entrance. Its bay size should be more than 1. 5m, as shown in Figure 11. The foyer is a space that can only be set up when the household has a large building area, such as 160 square meters or more.
The apartment shown in Figure 12 has a construction area of 167 square meters, four bedrooms, three living rooms and two bathrooms. It can be said to be a "highly comfortable" apartment type. What I want to say here is that it is not a second hall but a third hall. It has an extra foyer with an area of 18 square meters than most apartments. Is it a waste? As can be seen from the picture, there are as many as seven doors in the foyer, so this foyer is not only It fully plays the role of transition and buffering, and makes every other room regular and comfortable, so it is not wasted.
Kitchen
The kitchen is a very important room in the house, and it is closely related to the comfort of the apartment. As the building area of a household increases, its size also increases. The "suitable", "comfortable" and "high comfort" dimensions of the kitchen are roughly as shown in Figure 13a, b and c. For fashionable families, the "high comfort" kitchen can double as a family dining room if used as a Western kitchen.
Bathroom
The bathroom is divided into a separate bathroom and a master bedroom bathroom. . The master bedroom bathroom is preferably close to a square shape (to facilitate the arrangement of sanitary ware). The size can be referred to Figures 3 and 4 or appropriately enlarged. This size is sufficient for a rectangular or large triangular jet massage bathtub.
It is better to use a rectangular shape in the public bathroom, because it can occupy less space and separate the washing and bathing toilets, so that it can be used by one person to wash and the other bathing and toileting at the same time, increasing its use function and making the apartment more " Applicable" or "comfortable", as shown in Figure 14. The size of this drawing can basically meet the "comfort" standard. If you want to change it to the "suitable" or "high comfort" standard, the bay and depth can be appropriately reduced or increased.
Storage room
Houses with a building area of 130㎡ and above should be equipped with a storage room to facilitate residents to store sundries. Its "suitable" dimensions are roughly as shown in Figure 15. Increasing the bay depth by 300 or 600 can make it meet the "comfort" or "high comfort" requirements.
