Where should I put the incense burner at home? How to worship Buddha at home?
These four kinds of incense are all suitable for offering Buddha, but because incense is often mixed with bad chemicals, it is best to choose natural incense. If you burn incense to the Buddha, you only need to light one or three sticks, and you don't need to light a lot of incense, which will become pungent air pollution.
As for incense burners, there are many kinds of incense burners, such as "line incense burners" for wired incense, "end incense burners" for burning end incense, coil incense and petal incense, and "lying incense burners" which are easy to clean. There is no special taboo in the handling of incense burners. The principle is to keep the incense burners clean. Don't let incense ashes accumulate on the Buddha's table, and always wipe the incense burner to avoid looking greasy and unclean outside.
Generally speaking, people express sincere wishes to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and attach great importance to the content of offerings and related etiquette. In fact, the most important thing to support buddhas and bodhisattvas is to support their hearts, and flowers and fruits mainly convey their inner respect. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have proved great wisdom will not covet the delicious food and incense on earth.
Therefore, when dealing with the details of support, sincere respect is the highest principle, as long as the Buddhist temple and support are kept clean.
Believers are required to be sincere in worshipping Buddha at home and keep the Buddhist temples and offerings clean. Usually, offerings are first offered to the gods in the shrine.
You don't need all the sacrifices, you can adjust them according to your actual situation. For example, people who are allergic to incense don't necessarily need to light incense. Just prepare clean water for the Buddha.
The ritual of offering sacrifices is mainly to ask questions before offering flowers, fruits, incense, water or other food to the Buddha. First, raise the offering to the eyebrows, and then put it in front of the Buddha.
Matters needing attention in setting up Buddhist temples: the central government consecrates Buddha and Bodhisattva statues. There is a censer, a clean cup and two vases on the table, which are often used to put flowers. Put an electric lamp or oil lamp in front of the Buddha, and light one or three incense sticks in the morning and evening. After the evening self-study, you can turn off the Buddha lamp and put some exercise books on the table to show your magic weapon. Put curtains on the table and put one or more stools. Buddhist couplets and pictures are hung on the wall to promote clean business. In the morning, offer a cup of boiling water in front of the Buddha, and in the afternoon, send it out and sprinkle it outdoors. Buddhist temples must be cleaned every day. If the house is small, the bedroom is separated by curtains or cabinets, and a small part is designated as a Buddhist temple. Buddha and bodhisattva statues should be simply purified, and it is not dignified to offer miscellaneous confessions.
