Where is the ancient city of Langzhong?
Langzhong Ancient City is located in Langshui Road, Langzhong City, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. Located in the north of Sichuan Basin, the middle reaches of Jialing River, with Yilong and Bazhong in the east, Longnan in the south, Jiange in the west and Cangxi in the north, 300 kilometers away from Chengdu, the provincial capital.
There are many places of interest and famous people in Langzhong, which are surrounded by mountains and waters, forming a natural barrier and having the reputation of "Fairyland in Yuen Long" and "Rare in Langzhong". The architectural style of Langzhong ancient city embodies the geomantic concept of ancient houses in China. The chessboard-style pattern of the ancient city, which combines the buildings of North and South styles, forms architectural groups with different styles, such as "semi-pearl", "commodity" and "multi", and is a typical example of "harmony between man and nature" in the site selection of the ancient city of China.
There are eight national key cultural relics protection units in Langzhong Ancient City, including Zhang Fei Temple, Ai 'an Temple, Wulong Temple, Wang Tengting, Cannongji, Babao Temple, Big Buddha Temple and Gong Yuan, Sichuan North Road. There are 22 provincial-level cultural relics protection units, including Shaojiawan Tomb, Wenbi Pagoda, Cliff Statue of Stone Chamber, Cliff Statue of Raytheon Cave, Cliff Statue of Niuwang Cave, the former site of the General Political Department of the Red Fourth Front Army, Huaguang Building and Langzhong Confucian Temple.
20 10 February, Langzhong was awarded the title of "China Spring Festival Cultural Hometown"; September 20 13, Langzhong Ancient City Tourist Area was approved as a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
