The most mysterious and core of Feng Shui is "Qi". Qi here refers to a kind of qi, which is the breeding gas for creating all things in the universe and the root of all things. This kind of "qi" can't be sensed. In order to find it, we must look for it with the help of matter. In order to find it, Feng Shui master found many laws. The geomantic school that studies this law is rational style.
Rational form is one of the two schools of Feng Shui, which is based on mathematical theory. Its origin can be traced back to the Duke of Zhou. Later, in the Spring and Autumn Period, Yin and Yang families prevailed. In Jin Dynasty, scholar Guo Pu put forward the content of rational style. In Song Dynasty, Li Style was formally established, mainly in Fujian area, also known as "Fujian School".
The formula is based on the theory of Yin and Yang, the river map, Luo Shu, innate gossip, the acquired eight diagrams, the five elements and the mathematics from one to nine planets, with the theory of flying stars in Jiugong as the core content, to explore the geomantic omen of Yin and Yang families, and to determine the angry state by the operation of nine planets.
There are two versions of the nine planets here. One, nine planets refer to the sun, the moon and the seven planets of the solar system. The second view is that the Big Dipper is a good left and right satellite next to the Big Dipper. Feng shui is also called purple and white flying stars. That is, a white mercury, two black Saturn, three blue Jupiter, four green Jupiter, five loess stars, six white Venus, seven red Venus, eight white Saturn and nine purple Mars.
Li Shi's main work is Nine Days Xuan Nv Qingnangjing. The book has 70,000 words and 4 volumes. It is based on the Yin and Yang in Zhouyi, with the five elements, hexagrams and the directions of the twenty-four mountains as the basic contents, and the narrative is quite detailed. Under the guidance of the Book of Changes, Jiutian Xuan Nv Qingnanghaijiao Classic preaches divinatory principles. There is an orderly cloud in front of the book: "Xuan Nv has fallen, and the gods are in heaven and earth. The number is deep and quiet, and the Tao follows the Heluo, and the divination is dry. Geng Jia, the first division, is safe in five elements and rich in family wealth. " This tells us that this book is written with the theory of Zhouyi.
Looking at this book comprehensively, there are two characteristics. One is compilation, which refers to the theories and various documents of Feng Shui masters such as Zeng and Zeng. The second is to emphasize the principle of change and divination. From the original text quoted above, we can see that gossip about Yin and Yang is talked about almost everywhere, but less about the situation. From this reasoning, this book is a masterpiece of Fujian School.
Later, the two volumes of Zhai Jing, also the classic works of Zong, were included in Sikuquanshu. As for the Fang Jing, there is such an introduction in the Summary of Sikuquanshu: "There are two volumes of Fang Jing, formerly known as the Huangdi Erfang Jing and the Fang Jing of Huainanzi, Li and Lv Cai. When I wrote it, I didn't pretend to be the Yellow Emperor, and the stunts were fascinating. Its method is divided into twenty-four methods to find fault, and it is reasonable to use eight potential positions to shake the dry roots and Chen Weiyang, leave Kun Dui and Xu as Yin, Yang as the sea, Si as the tail, Yin as the tail, and the sea as the tail, and the main yin and yang are in harmony. "
Conclusion: What needs to be distinguished by later generations is that the summary of "Sikuquanshu" also says: "There is a volume of Xiangzhai Sutra in the five elements of Song Shiyi's Wen Zhi, which is the closest technique." It can be seen that the so-called Huangdi House Classic is actually a masterpiece in the name of Huangdi, but it is indeed a feng shui classic of later generations and a masterpiece of rational style.
