The life of Hong Kong movie star Weng Meiling
Born on May 7, 1959 in Hong Kong. In 1966, when Weng Meiling was seven years old, her father passed away and her family fell into decline. In 1972, her mother and stepfather Liao Jintang immigrated to the UK. However, due to formalities, Weng Meiling was unable to leave with her mother immediately and stayed in Hong Kong with her uncle Chen Jing for two years. In 1974, 15-year-old Weng Meiling completed F4 at Rose Hill Secondary School in Hong Kong. In the fourth grade of secondary school, she chose subjects to study. She chose science and was determined to be admitted to the University of Hong Kong to study medical school. But at this time she left Hong Kong and immigrated to the UK. She lived in England for eight years, seven of which she spent in school. He studied textiles at the Central College of Art and Design in London for four years and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981. After graduation, Weng Meiling joined the company of the famous British designer Charles as a design assistant. After working for half a year, she returned to Hong Kong. At the end of March 1982, Weng Meiling returned to Hong Kong for vacation during Easter. She lived in the home of her surrogate mother in Tin Kwong Road, Kowloon City, and signed up for the Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant, eventually finishing eighth. Tang Zhenye put a rose on Weng Meiling's hair, then placed eleven roses on the coffin lid, folded a comb in half, shook off the comb tail, and left the comb in the coffin, completely leaving Weng Meiling in the coffin. Treated as deceased wife for salvation. On May 28, the ashes were returned to the UK for burial. On June 3, he was buried in Cambridge New Market Catholic Cemetery in the university city of Cambridge, England. From October 26th to November 4th, a charity exhibition to commemorate Weng Meiling's posthumous works was held in London's Chinatown, displaying Weng Meiling's personal paintings and Weng Meiling's paintings by Chen Jing.
