Is there really trust between strangers?
There is real trust between strangers.
The first time I came to Chengdu was twenty years ago.
The main purpose was to go to West China Hospital to find a classmate. After getting off the bus at Moziqiao Station, since I was a student, my classmate told me that it was not far away and there might be three stations. Because when I was a student, I walked quickly and wanted to exercise myself. I didn’t have much money, so I just wanted to walk. I asked a few people and they just told me the general direction. Of course, there are several ways to go from one place to another. One is the bus route, which is correct, but the distance is relatively long. The other person is a local. The route we took was across the street, which was short but easy to go wrong. There are two or three small alleys to cross. After walking for a while, not knowing where to go, a young man came over, riding a brand-new bicycle and ringing a bell. I stopped him immediately. I'm sorry, but I want to ask how to get to West China Hospital. The young man calmed down and told me how to go. Riding away, suddenly it reversed again. Come, I'm going there too to see you off. I got on the bike and was worried about what if I met a scammer along the way.
The only thing is to call the police. If anything happens, go to the police. In ten minutes, I arrived at the door of West China Hospital. I was grateful beyond words. I was so excited that the young man returned on the way he came. I knew that the young man might have sent me there specially, and he might not have taken this road. I can't express my gratitude, I can only say in my heart that good people have a safe life.
I once went home to Beijing to take a few children to participate in a kitten software production competition, which was organized by the Youth Foundation on behalf of Dell. The purpose of the activity is to cultivate rural children's computer skills. When I came back, my phone was not working and the battery was not fully charged. It seemed like it was six years ago. I took a train. I was delayed for 30 hours on the train, and it was an express train. There was no place to charge on the train. After getting off the train, how do we contact the driver who picked us up? It was mid-August, and the weather in Chengdu was relatively hot. At five o'clock, there was a wave of heat. Chengdu Railway Station is such a big place, how can the driver find us, and how can we contact the driver. After leaving the platform, I looked around, hoping to find a kind person who could lend me his cell phone to make a call. There were three primary school students beside me, all carrying backpacks. They looked very tired from the journey. They had not had a good rest on the train. I casually asked someone to borrow his cell phone, but he ignored me and left. After observing for a while, a girl came into view. She had a pretty face and she could tell that she was sunny and kind-hearted.
I walked up to her and explained the purpose of my visit. I was sorry that I couldn’t borrow my mobile phone. There was no other way. I had to find the nearest place selling mobile phones to see if they could charge it. When I was anxious, the girl came to me, asked for my driver's mobile phone number, called me, told us our location, and found out the driver's location, which was somewhere on the opposite side. It's not that easy to find a place in Chengdu, especially if you're not familiar with it. The girl took us and helped carry a child's schoolbag, and took us to the direction of the driver. Even when we arrived at a place, we couldn't find it. It was easy to find the mobile phone, because Chengdu is a big place and parking is very difficult. I contacted the driver by phone and found it slowly. While I was searching, I asked the girl quietly why she was unwilling to lend her a mobile phone earlier and why she helped us later. The girl said, I am observing you. The three children do not look like children, because the children who are coaxing and the children who are reading have different eyes. Likewise, I do see your anxiety. For those who are in difficulty, I am willing to help you. I can only say thank you and say in my heart that good people have a safe life.
