Fangcheng Port has less foggy days. The area where the port is located has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate. It is like spring all year round and the climate is pleasant.
The sea currents in Fangchenggang are mainly composed of tidal currents, Fangcheng rivers and wind-wave currents. It is a mixed tidal port, with 6 to 8 days of neap floods every month, which are irregular semidiurnal tides, and the rest are regular diurnal tides. High and medium tides are regular diurnal tides, while neap tides are irregular semidiurnal tides.
Fangchenggang is located in the Beibu Gulf and has obvious maritime monsoon climate characteristics. The usual wind direction in this area is north-northeast. The harbor is surrounded by mountains and the wind is not strong. Fangchenggang is located in a low latitude area, affected by the simultaneous influence of the ocean and the Shiwanda Mountains, and has relatively abundant rainfall. Precipitation in this area is mainly concentrated from June to September every year, accounting for about 71% of the annual precipitation.
Fangchenggang has less foggy days. Fog generally occurs in the early morning and night between late winter and early spring. The concentration is thin. Morning fog generally lasts for 2 to 3 hours, and the fog dissipates at sunrise.
