Liaodong Peninsula Liaodong Peninsula is also called Liaodong Tao Pan or Liaodong Peninsula. Also known as Luda Peninsula. Important cities: Dalian, Dandong and Yingkou.

Liaodong Peninsula, located in the south of Liaoning Province, is the second largest peninsula in China. The Qian Shan Mountains run through the peninsula from south to north. The highest point is higher than1000 m. The coastal area of the peninsula is plain, and there are many islands in the sea. The most famous ones are Xiaolong Island (Snake Island) and Changshan Islands.

Dalian in the south of the peninsula is one of the excellent seaports in China, with beautiful scenery and a famous tourist attraction. Its northern border is the Yalu River Qian Shan Mountains, which runs through the whole peninsula from south to north. Due to the influence of maritime climate, the peninsula is warm in winter and cool in summer, and summer is a summer resort. The warm climate makes this peninsula a good fruit producing area.

Liaodong Peninsula, with mild climate, is a concentrated apple producing area and the largest export base. Other products include apples, pears, peaches and hawthorn. Qian Shan vein divides Liaodong Peninsula into two inclined planes. The annual runoff depth of Liaodong Peninsula is less than 400 mm, and the runoff coefficient is mostly 40%. The summer runoff accounts for 65% of the whole year, and the water level fluctuates greatly. The soil is mainly brown soil, the lowlands in the valley are straw mats, and saline soil is distributed along the coast.

The northeast is adjacent to Changbai Mountain, with Qian Shan in the middle. Most of them are low mountains and hills, and some peaks are above 1000m (the highest is Buyun Mountain 1 13 1m). There are ocean terraces and alluvial plains along the coast. Broken terrain, short rivers and narrow valleys. Biliu River and Daqing River both flow into the sea separately. Laotieshan is the only place for migratory birds to fly. The nearby Snake Island is the habitat of a large number of Agkistrodon halys in front of the main ridge of Liaodong Peninsula in Lushunkou, and Laotieshan Snake Island is one of the nature reserves in China. Liaodong Peninsula belongs to low mountains and hills in landform. Because it extends into the ocean, it is greatly influenced by the ocean, and the climate is warm and humid, belonging to the warm temperate monsoon climate. It is the concentrated production area and the largest export base of apples.
