The history of Qinglong Ancient Town
The Qinglongs in history include Wang Shengzhong, who received a horizontal plaque from the emperor and was awarded the "Millions of Ropes", including Wang Shichang, a member of the Sun Yat-sen Alliance, Jian Yuntong, Wen Lin Lang, a member of the Ministry of Household Affairs, and a member of the Ministry of War. , editor and editor of the Hanlin Academy, governor of the Chasi Department, classics of the Imperial College, chief administrative officer, inspection, inspection, teaching, education, etc. His official career spans Zhili, Henan, Shandong, Guangdong and other places. At that time, the land was full of outstanding people and merchants prospered. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1430), there was a village named "Jinghaozui" on the main transportation road from Taiyuan, Shanxi to Inner Mongolia. Two kilometers away from Jinghaozui to the north (today's Hanzhai), there is Wangjiazhuang. At that time, the ancestors of Wangjiazhuang had switched from living on the land to doing business. Around 1415 AD, an ancestor of the Wang family was very capable in business and could speak foreign languages. He went to sea many times to do business with the official fleet, and he was also an official (his official rank is unknown). This may be It is related to Zheng He’s voyages to the West. During the reign of Emperor Daizong Jing, because each trip to the sea cost a large amount of the country's silver, he no longer advocated going to sea for large fleets to do business. But for the Wang family, they learned the real skills of doing business by taking advantage of the opportunity to do business in the sea. As a result, the Wang family's shop had a certain scale at that time.
It is said that a son was born to the Wang family on the first day of the first lunar month of the Taichang year of Emperor Guangzong of the Ming Dynasty. When he grew up, he could read a lot of books and learned abacus. Later, he created the "One Palm Classic". It is estimated that this ancestor of the Wang family should have been born around 1620 AD. (This is the ancestor of the Wang family's Million Rope Sect later. ) At this time, the number of Wang family's fonts distributed in various places was increasing day by day, which can be said to be "making more money every day". In feudal society, it was also said that "the official system is open and all industries are prosperous". I was no longer used to living in Wangjiazhuang, so I spotted Jinghaozui, a geomantic treasure land on the main transportation road. At that time, three people with the surnames of Li, Jin, Xiao, and Xiao lived here. They also opened several shops, managed land for a living, and had a family. The place is called Jinjiadian. There are not many people with these three surnames, and the economy is not very wealthy. Seizing this opportunity, the Wang family purchased a large amount of houses and land in Jinghaozui, built shops, pavilions, and courtyards, carried out extensive civil engineering work, and moved down from Wangjiazhuang. At this time, many members of the Wang family had moved to other places, and there were only a few households with the Wang surname left. The number of the Han family increased. During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, Wangjiazhuang was renamed Hanzhai Village. There was still some time for this. Magical legend. (The drama "Nail Cylinder" was performed in Wangjiazhuang.) Since the Wang family moved to Qinghaozui, business has become more and more prosperous. There are markets every, Thursday, and July, and the traffic is getting increasingly prosperous. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the Wang family donated one million taels of silver to the country, which caused a sensation in the entire city of Beijing. There is a magical legend in this. (The story of a silver man from the Wang family) Emperor Long Yan of Kangxi was overjoyed and made the Wang family "Minister of War" (the name can't be remembered) and presented him with a pair of luan frames, but they were not equipped with sun, moon, dragon and phoenix fans. In terms of the business name, he was awarded the title "Millions of Strings" and was given a golden flag with a cloud edge, embroidered with a blue dragon and a letter "Given by the Emperor Qing Dynasty" to show that the Manchu and Han family were sitting together with the Eight Banners disciples. At this time, the Wang family entered its heyday. There were 108 Rama temples from south to north, with mushroom shops, pharmacies, food stores, etc. Mainland medicine shops carry precious Baicao Shuang, which is distributed in prefectural government offices in Fujian, Guangdong, Sichuan and other places, with countless county officials. (This was seen from the tombstones when a large area of graves were spread out in 1963.) The architectural style is based on the Qinglong Banner issued by the imperial edict, and the buildings are built in the shape of dragons everywhere. The front legs of the dragon are called Feng Shui Slopes. Feng Shui says that the auspicious light shines with purple energy from the east. With your right leg against the edge of Sanfu ditch, you use manpower to carry the earth. The rammed earth is piled into an earth cliff nearly 30 meters long, wide and high. It is symmetrical and echoes the Wenchang Temple opposite. . A Dragon King Temple was built, equipped with a bell and drum tower stage. Every year on June 18th, the Dragon King Temple sang operas and was crowded with people. During the period of the Wang family's construction work, five generations insisted on not dividing the family and built the whole village into a dragon shape. In order to pass down the Qinglong Banner and the village forever, the Wang family decided to use Qinglong Town as evidence to rename Jinghaozui as Qinglong Town, which means using the imperial Qinglong Banner as evidence.
The entire building complex in Qinglong Town is like a soaring dragon. The ancient town is 5 miles long from north to south. The curved building complex at the south end of the town is the dragon's tail; the curved building in the west town is the dragon's right leg that bends and kicks back; the curved road leading to the collapsed cliff slope in the east town is the dragon's left leg.
Therefore, the road leads to the river, just like the dragon's claws just emerging from the water; the arched old road on the Feng Shui slope is the dragon's right front leg; the curved slope of the Dragon King Temple is the dragon's left front leg, the lower street is the dragon's neck, and the big cross is the dragon's claw; the river slope is The dragon's head, the five-mile long street are the dragon's body, and the wells in the two temples including the River Temple on the dragon's head are the dragon's eyes. A large river rolls away from the south to the north in the east of the town. From a distance, Qinglong Town looks like a giant dragon emerging from the water, rising into the sky.
There is an earthen tower outside the town. It was originally a beacon tower used to transmit military messages in the Spring and Autumn Period. It looks like a giant pen from a distance. The Wang family also built an earthen pagoda at the border with Xihuangshui Village, and built a brush tip on it, which means the number one scholar in Wenquxingdian. They hope that God will bless the Wang family with more officials from generation to generation.
There are many shops on both sides of Qinglong Town, all built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Temples such as Laoye Temple, Taishan Temple, Nainai Temple, Heshen Temple, Wenchang Temple, Dragon King Temple, Dawang Temple, and Chahuang Temple are located on the high slopes around the ancient town and along the ditch road. The temples are majestic, either like an eagle spreading its wings, or Like strange beasts, they perform their duties year after year, protecting the auspiciousness and peace of the ancient town. The Wang family lives in three gardens and other residences on the 11th floor of Hall 20. The architectural styles are different, the construction level is superb, the wood carvings, brick carvings and stone carvings are ingenious in design and exquisite in craftsmanship. In particular, Wudao Pavilion on Wuli Long Street is rare in the country. The so-called pavilion is neither a pavilion nor an archway. It is built on the street. A building similar to a city gate tower. Toudao Pavilion is located in the center of the town. It is about three rooms wide and 10 meters deep. It has a two-story brick and wood structure, with three wooden structure hard-topped floors above it. In the room, there are two Bodhisattvas, Guanyin and Manjusri, facing north, and five hundred Arhats facing south. , layer upon layer, magnificent. One mile south is the Erdao Pavilion. This pavilion is the same in size as the Toudao Pavilion, but the difference is that the statue inside the pavilion is Emperor Zhenwu. One mile further south is the Sandao Pavilion. The building scale is the same as the first two pavilions, but the figures on the pavilion are the Jade Emperor and Kui Huangye. These three pavilions are equipped with iron gates. After closing at night, the street looks like an iron barrel, which is very safe. The Sidao Pavilion is in the east. There are statues of Zhuge Liang and Yue Fei on the pavilion. It is called Shuangzhong Pavilion. "Qinglong Town" is engraved above the east door and "Shuangzhong Pavilion" is engraved above the west door. The fifth pavilion is near the River Temple. It is said that there is an eye in the river, leading to the sea. The river often surges up and floods the ancient road. King Shi Phosphorus of Caidong organized residents to build dams and river temples to eliminate flooding. Later, he built a pavilion as a memorial. On the pavilion there was an inscription written by Empress Dowager Cixi. The wall facing south was inscribed with the word "Anlan", and the wall facing north was inscribed with "Anlan". The title above contains the word "smooth road". During every New Year and festival, Wudao Pavilion lights up bowl lanterns to worship the gods. The lights are brightly lit and illuminate the whole town, which is very spectacular
