The origin and history of Lishan one-man show club

During the meeting, those who prayed for children from all over the world, as usual, came all the way to ask God for help and made a gift. According to legend, Nu Wa, the ancestor of mankind, married Fu's brother and sister and left a miracle in Mount Li. She dug up the soil on the bank of Lingshui to create people and spread many stories to the world. In order to commemorate her sacred work, people built a temple in Lishan, her birthplace, and called her "the mother of Lishan". On the day of the meeting, regardless of Buddhism or Taoism, all the temples, temples and courtyards in Shandong and Xixiuling were crowded with pilgrims, cigarettes filled the air and bells rang. Those who hope their children will spare no expense in providing flowers, fruits, oil, noodles, clothes, money, plaques and monuments. More interestingly, the mother Lishan prayed for her children, but the old people in the temple paid with red ropes tied with copper coins. People say "sincerity is the spirit" or "everything is needed". The meeting lasted for three days and three nights. The streets and alleys in the city were crowded with tourists, firecrackers rumbled, ancient music and operas were full, canteens and restaurants were in short supply, and hotels were full all night.

This ancient Han folk temple fair has a long history. Today, after the reform and opening-up, tourism has developed vigorously, adding new contents, becoming a place that Chinese and foreign tourists yearn for, and the ancient activities of praying for children have gradually been adopted by the new culture.

According to the folklore of the Han nationality, June 13th of the lunar calendar is the birthday of Nu Wa Niangniang. At this time of the year, a large-scale temple fair will be held in Lishan, Lintong District, where Nu Wa practices colorful stone to mend the sky, attracting a large number of good men and women to play with incense, which is very lively. As the temple fair lasts for several days, local people will bring sheets and dry food when offering sacrifices to Nu Wa Niangniang. This custom continues to this day, so the Lishan Temple Fair is also called the "bed sheet (bed sheet) meeting" locally.

According to reports, during this year's temple fair, important Taoist figures will be invited to the mountain temple to make various souvenirs for pilgrims. Tourists and pilgrims from all over the world can enjoy various Han traditional art performances such as Qin Opera while traveling around the mountains and enjoying water. In order to ensure the safety during the temple fair, Lishan Scenic Area has formulated detailed safety measures to ensure smooth roads and good order.
