What did Hu people call Han people in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties? Why?

We Han people now call ourselves Han people because the once powerful Han Dynasty gave us confidence. Overseas, the place where China people gather is called Chinatown, because China was very powerful in the Tang Dynasty and was admired by all countries. So what do ethnic minorities call us Han people? In different dynasties, people called us Han people differently, just like in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, they didn't all call us Han people. They have different names for people in different parts of our region, which is the result of historical limitations and different ruling dynasties.

First, history has its limitations, and everyone's vision has its limitations. During the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, some Lakers still called some people Han Chinese, because in the Eastern Han Dynasty, those capable generals attacked the Qiang people in Liangzhou, and they fled everywhere, so they had a deep resentment against us Han Chinese, just like the Eastern Han Dynasty was powerful, so those people were still called Han Chinese, which had a deterrent effect on them. Some Hu people call us by other names, but only Liangzhou, which was razed to the ground by the Eastern Han Dynasty, calls us Han people.

Second, addressing others is restricted by dynasties, because during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Eastern Jin and the Western Jin were unified and orthodox dynasties, and those ethnic conference semifinals needed to pay tribute in the Han Dynasty. Therefore, they call the Han residents below the Western Jin Dynasty and the Eastern Jin Dynasty Jin people, because different dynasties have different names. At the same time, there was a country in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, which was a descendant of the Han Dynasty, so he also named this country Han, which we called the later Han in history. Therefore, the people in the area under his jurisdiction are also called Han Chinese by the Hu people.

There are other names in other places. During the Three Kingdoms period, Wei Shuwu was divided into three parts, but in the generation ruled by Sun Quan, the people there were called Wu people by the Hu people, because the country ruled by Sun Quan became Wu. Hu people call Han people Han people, so they are called Han people. They call them whatever they want to see, but when they are in chaos, they despise the Han people even more, and some even call them worse names. Most of them change with the trend of the times, and it is more convenient to address them differently.
