Poetry of Yongcheng
The poem of Yongcheng is as follows:
"Winter Night in Yongcheng"
The flowers on the willow bank are swaying, the tired birds are frightened, and the neon lights are bright halfway up the mountain.
The water flowing in the east reflects the moon in the west river, and it is easy to be old and frosty and the sky is not old.
Knowledge expansion:
Yongcheng, this name seems quite unfamiliar. It is not as well-known as Shencheng and Yangcheng, but it can still be regarded as an ancient city. On winter nights, tranquility and splendor coexist, and enthusiasm and warmth coexist.
When I was studying history when I was young, I saw King Qin Yingzheng sweeping through the six kingdoms and unifying the world. I thought it would be easy to give up, and then Chen Sheng and Wu Guang peasants revolted. In fact, after Yingzheng established the Qin Dynasty, he did not suspend his troops. The victorious army of 500,000 men, led by Tu Sui, Ren Xiao, and Zhao Tuo, captured the Baiyue Kingdom in the south of Lingnan. When the three counties of Guilin, Xiang, and Nanhai were established, it was thought that Guilin County was centered on the current Guilin City, and Xiang County was centered on the current Nanning City of Yongcheng.
According to research, the Xiang County administration in the Qin Dynasty was in the Chongzuo area of Guangxi, not far from Nanning City. It seems that when King Qin Yingzheng’s army captured this place, the Baiyue soldiers had little impression of it. It feels like the elephants that can be seen everywhere here have left a deep impression on the sergeants from the north and the Central Plains. The real establishment of Nanning was the establishment of Jinxing County in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The county government was located in Jinxing County, and Jinxing County is today's Nanning. Nanning was called "Yong" until the Zhenguan period of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, when Yongzhou was established and the state government was located in Nanning.
In the Yuan Dynasty, the southern frontier was in uniform, and Yongzhou was renamed Nanning to celebrate. However, the "Yong" of Yongcheng has always been engraved in the hearts of the people. The city is called Yongcheng, and the river is called Yongjiang River. The river passes through Yongcheng in nine twists and turns from west to east. In the past, the development of Jiangbei was obviously better than that of Jiangnan. Perhaps it was because it had faced dangers and threats from the south of the Yangtze River for a long time in history.
Now the country is peaceful and the people are safe, the flowers are blooming, and the south of the Yangtze River is also spectacular. The development of the city has not reduced the vegetation coverage of these eight osmanthus green trees. It is still half city green trees and half towers. This east-flowing water is surrounded by flowers and green trees on both sides; insects chirp and tired birds chirp; this east-flowing water is brisk all the way, accompanied by the bright moon, neon lights and lumens in the middle of the mountain;
This east-flowing water flows all the way eastward, but is renamed Xijiang. It really feels like the bright moon in the Qin Dynasty and the pass in the Han Dynasty.
In this situation, the poet Li Bai should also sigh, "Now there is only the moon over the Xijiang River." No matter how the times change, what is easy to grow old is the sky, and what is not old is the feelings.
