Where is the location of Huangwuyi Temple (Huanggong Temple)?
The full name of Huanggong Temple is "Huangwuyigong Temple", which is located at Yu Ying Primary School in Huanggong West Street, Wuyi Road. 19 18 was originally a temple dedicated to Huang, a martyr of the Xinhai Revolution in Yunnan, and later changed to "Huangwuyi Gongci".
Huang (1885~ 19 12) is a native of Huize, Yunnan. Studying in Japan in his early years is one of the backbones of Yunnan Branch of China League. /kloc-went to Kunming in 0/909, set up league organizations, and actively participated in organizing and launching uprisings. On the night of the Double Ninth Festival, Hongxiang Li and others fired the first shot of the uprising in Beijiaochang, charged first, broke through the North Gate for the first time, and established the "First Merit of Recovery". After the recovery of Yunnan, he joined the army to aid Sichuan, and was stabbed to death in Sinan, Guizhou on his way back to the division. He is only 28 years old.
In recognition of Huang's achievements in the Revolution of 1911, posthumous title, the governor general, named him "Wu". Cai E personally wrote an epitaph for Huang, and Dr. Sun Yat-sen presented a plaque of "Immortality of Loyalty". First, a memorial service was held at the Martyrs Temple at the foot of Tong Yuan Mountain. 19 18 established the "Huangwuyi Gongci", and the streets on both sides of the Gongci were named as "Huanggong East Street" and "Huanggong West Street" as a memorial. The original ancestral hall is a sloping hall building on the top of the mountain, with three rooms wide and two rooms deep. There is a plaque inscribed by Sun Yat-sen, "Gan Kun is upright".
After the founding of New China, Huanggong Temple was transformed into a primary school. Due to the renovation of the school building for many years, the building was demolished and rebuilt, leaving only the "Huang Zi and Ancestral Temple Monument". 1987, Kunming listed the former site of Huangwuyigong Temple as a cultural relic protection unit in Kunming, built a "HuangXinhai Hero Memorial Pavilion" in the school, and renamed Dongfeng Primary School, which was originally located in the ancestral temple, as a memorial to the martyrs.
