Sequential regulating cylinder
In a four-cylinder engine (1-3-4-2 power sequence), the valve clearance can be adjusted according to 1 double, 2-in, 3-out and 4-out, and when the compression top dead center of 1 cylinder is reached, the valve clearance can be adjusted.
At the end of the compression stroke (cylinder 1), the intake valve is closed and the exhaust valve is closed.
(2 cylinders) The power stroke ends, the exhaust stroke begins (exhaust is opened ahead of schedule), and the intake valve closes.
(3) When the intake stroke ends, the compression stroke starts (the intake is closed later) and the exhaust valve closes.
(4) When the exhaust stroke ends, does the intake stroke start (intake starts early) (exhaust starts late)?
For 6-cylinder engines with working sequence of 1, 5, 3, 6, 2 and 4, open the cylinder head, turn the crankshaft and observe the valve movement of 6 cylinders. When the intake valve and exhaust valve overlap, it is the exhaust top dead center of cylinder 6. At this time, 1 cylinder is at compression top dead center. The intake and exhaust valves of 1 cylinder and the intake valve of cylinder 2 can be adjusted. Then turn the crankshaft 360 degrees, find the compression top dead center of cylinder 6 according to this method, and adjust other valves. In a six-cylinder engine (power sequence is -6-2-4), the valve clearance can be adjusted according to 1 double, 2-in, 3-in, 4-in, 5-in and 6-out, and when the compression top dead center of 1 cylinder is reached, the absolutely closed valve can be adjusted.
At the end of the compression stroke (cylinder 1), the intake valve is closed and the exhaust valve is closed.
(Cylinder 2) The exhaust stroke starts from TDC 120 degrees (the exhaust valve is open) and the intake valve is closed.
(Cylinder 3) The exhaust valve is closed (the intake valve is open) at the end of the intake stroke 60 degrees away from the bottom dead center.
(4) At the end of the power stroke, the intake valve is 60 degrees away from the bottom dead center (the exhaust is opened in advance).
(5 cylinders) The exhaust valve is closed at 120 degrees from the beginning of the compression stroke to the top dead center (late intake).
(Cylinder 6) When the exhaust stroke ends, does the intake stroke start (intake opens early) (exhaust closes late)?
