Great Wall vv7 Throttle Cleaning
Remove the engine guard with a10mm sleeve first, and then remove the engine guard with a10mm sleeve. Remove the plastic pipe of the air intake duct. Lever up the middle of the plastic clip with a screwdriver, gently pull it out, and then remove the air inlet. Then remove the pipe from the intake hose and loosen the screw near the throttle clamp with an 8 mm sleeve.
Loosen the screw at the other end, and remove the air inlet hose between the air cleaner and the throttle valve, which can be removed with a little force. Remove the hose of the carbon charging solenoid valve, and clamp it with pliers to remove it. Remove the hose in this way, and the other two pipes of the throttle valve are also removed. Note that the water pipe will drop a little water, and remove the throttle valve.
Be careful not to unplug the plug connected to the throttle valve at this time, and keep the connecting wire firmly in contact with the throttle valve during the whole cleaning process. The throttle is all removed, and it's still dirty. The key tool (ratchet wrench) came out, and the same 8mm sleeve was used, which was much more convenient. Otherwise, it would take a lot of effort, and the throttle valve was completely dismantled and still dirty.
It is best not to use carburetor cleaner. Be careful not to unplug the plug connected to the throttle valve at this time, and keep the connecting wire firmly in contact with the throttle valve during the whole cleaning process. This is a 3M throttle (door) cleaner. Adjust the movable trigger, change the direction of ratchet wrench, install throttle and connect all pipes. Be careful not to connect the upper and lower throttle pipes by mistake. This means that the pipes have been connected after cleaning and installation.
