Guidelines for visiting the Jade Buddha Garden

Although I don’t know much about Buddhist culture and Buddhism, and I don’t believe in Buddhism, I know that there are many devout believers who adhere to their pious beliefs. Faith, pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty, will go to many famous temples to express their wishes.

There is a Jade Buddha Garden in Anshan, Liaoning Province, where there is the largest Jade Buddha in the world. Anshan itself is the third largest city in Liaoning Province, after Shenyang and the provincial capital Dalian. It is not only the "Steel Capital of the Republic of China", but also known as the "Jade Capital of China". Speaking of Anshan, it is natural to mention the Jade Buddha Garden, where the world's largest Jade Buddha is located.

When we came to Jade Buddha Garden in the afternoon, the weather was very good. Spring in the north at the end of April feels like the best season. The trees have just been paved with green, the flowers have just bloomed, the comfortable air and white clouds are dotted in the blue sky. On the way to the entrance of Jade Buddha Garden, I was infected by the beautiful scenery outside Jade Buddha Garden. Blue sky, beautiful scenery, make you feel better, just like if you meet a beautiful girl or young man, you will feel relaxed and happy.

So this place not only attracts Buddhists, but also attracts many other elderly people, children, young people, and people who love life to come here and enjoy this beautiful and peaceful place.

Walking to the main entrance of Jade Buddha Garden, there is a palace-like temple building with architectural paintings rich in Buddhist culture. It shines under the blue sky and white clouds, attracting us to go in and take a look at this world-famous largest jade Buddha.

When you walk into the entrance of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and pass through the red door at the entrance of the mountain gate, you feel like you are looking at the vast history and long and extensive Buddhist culture.

After passing through the entrance of the Jade Buddha Garden, the innermost part is the Tianwang Hall, the first hall, the Relic Hall in the middle of the main building plane, and the Mahavira Hall dedicated to the world's largest Jade Buddha.

On the double dragon ear jade incense burner in front of the main hall, the incense invited by people is still burning quietly. The light smoke drifting in the wind is the various beautiful wishes of people, floating into the distance, waiting to be realized.

In front of the Main Hall, I saw a stone tablet without words. It was carved from jade. There were no words on the stone tablet. From the discovery and processing of the Jade King to the carving and consecration of the world's largest Jade Buddha, it has gone through hardships and is full of magic. The purpose of the wordless monument is to let people feel the endless magic and moving charm here.

Anshan Jade Buddha Temple is located in the Jade Buddha Mountain Scenic Area and was founded in 1993. In 1996, it was renamed Jade Buddha Garden and opened to the public as a tourist park. It is one of the first batch of 4A tourist attractions in China. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha covers an area of 52,000 square meters and has a construction area of 8,800 square meters. There are Mahatma Hall, Heavenly King Hall, Relic Hall, Arhat Holy Land, etc. The entire temple has a reasonable layout, is simple and elegant, and is magnificent. The world's largest Jade Buddha is enshrined in the Main Hall. It is carved from beautiful jade and weighs 260.76 tons. On August 17 and 23 this year, the State Administration of Religious Affairs and the Liaoning Provincial Religious Affairs Bureau approved the renaming of the Anshan Jade Buddha Garden to the Jade Buddha Temple and established it as a place for Buddhist activities.
