After the first frost comes winter. The first frost, the18th solar term among the 24 solar terms, is the last solar term in the fall of the Gregorian calendar 101October 23rd to 24th. The first frost is a transitional solar term from autumn to winter. At night, the ground radiates heat very quickly, and the temperature can suddenly drop below 0℃. In the first frost season, the climate in southern China was mild. Even at the same latitude, the temperature and humidity of the air near the stratum are different due to the difference of altitude and topography, and the first frost period and frost day are also different.

The first frost is the last solar term in autumn and the beginning of the transition from autumn to winter. The lowest temperature can reach about zero degrees Celsius. In the first frost season, the temperature difference between day and night increases, so we should pay attention to adding clothes, especially to keep our feet and stomach warm.
