The geomantic omen of eight houses in earthquake houses.

In order to unify the statement, Bazhai geomantic omen determines the sitting direction of the house according to the orientation of the gate. When the gate faces southeast, the house sits in the northwest. Starting from the north, the eight diagrams are in turn: Kang En earthquake and Likun pair, and these eight directions correspond to the eight diagrams respectively, namely, earthquake, Likun, Guiguo, Kandu, Xunkun, Gan and Gen. The orientation of the house determines what kind of divination it belongs to. East belongs to earthquake, south belongs to separation, west belongs to communication, north belongs to Kan, southeast belongs to Xun, southwest belongs to Kun, northwest belongs to trunk, and northeast belongs to Gen.

Specifically:

2. The home in the southeast is Xunzhai, and the gate faces northwest.

The house in the south is far from the house, and the gate faces north.

4. The home in the southwest is Zhai Kun, and the gate faces the northeast.

The home in the west is opposite to the house, and the gate faces east.

6. The home in the northwest is a dry house, and the gate faces southeast.

7. The house in the north is Kanzhai, and the gate faces south.

8. The house in the northeast is a mansion with the gate facing southwest.
