The author of Yuejueshu is

Yue Jue Shu, also known as Yue Jue Ji, is a historical work that records events in wuyue during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It can be said that it is the earliest local chronicles in China.

Why is it called "Yuejue"? The more yue is mentioned, the more the book focuses on the history of yue. The explanation of "Jue" was once said by Yu Yue in Qing Dynasty as "recording stories to supplement the Spring and Autumn Annals", which means that the Spring and Autumn Annals written by Confucius mainly recorded the historical situation of the countries in the Central Plains, while the development of wuyue in the southeast corner was blank, so this book filled the gap in the Spring and Autumn Annals, which had a great influence on wuyue's politics, economy, military and astronomy from Xia Dynasty to Han Dynasty.

Later generations have studied this book in many ways. Although the historical materials are of great value, they do not clearly record who the author is. Because the book mainly describes the activities of Wu Zixu, Zi Gong, Fan Li and others, "Sui Shu. Annals of Classics is said to have been written by Zi Gong, a student of Confucius, while Chongwen Mu Zong is thought to have been written by Wu Zixu.

Until the Ming Dynasty, when Yang Shen, a litterateur, was studying Preface, he found a "mystery poem" in it, and the answer was the author's name, native place and writing situation.

There is a code word in the preface, "Take going as the surname and getting clothes as the merit, named rice and Geng". Explaining this code word, I found the word "Yuankang" hidden inside. There is also a saying, "Dayu came to the east for an expedition and died in the territory", which refers to the place where Dayu died, indicating that the author is from Huiji. There is also a saying that "taking the mouth as the surname, inheriting heaven, Chu and Qu Yuan", and it is speculated that this person's name is "Wu Ping". And "the words are determined by the state", indicating that this book was not written by one person, and there was a helper. On the whole, "Wuping" is the helper of "Yuankang" and they live in the same county. There is also a saying in the argot that "no one deserves it, and the class is self-evident." If the author's name is unknown, future generations should also know who the author is through argot. Isn't this a crossword puzzle? At this point, it seems that Yuan Kang and Wu Ping are the authors of Yuejueshu, while Yuan Kang and Wu Ping are from the Eastern Han Dynasty.
