Northeastern Heilongjiang, a small loop suitable for summer self-driving, a niche border tour

Let’s start with my self-driving tour in the northeastern region of Heilongjiang. After staying in Tongjiang for two nights, we planned to continue our journey to Fuyuan in the East Pole, but we gave it up temporarily due to weather conditions. Summer is coming, and many friends may have travel plans. The biggest problem during the summer peak season is that tourist attractions are crowded with people, and prices for food, accommodation, and transportation are increased. Let me introduce a self-driving route that is relatively niche, does not have many tourists, and is a bit challenging.

I once walked this route starting from Harbin, passing through Jiamusi, Tongjiang and Fuyuan, passing through Raohe and Hulin to Mishan, and then returned to Harbin. The trip lasted a week. This route is a niche route, and we walk all the way along the national border. We see huge mountains and rivers, thousands of acres of farmland, big lakes and wetlands, a vast world and endless scenery.

The first stop is Jiamusi, which is 380 kilometers away from Harbin and takes 4 hours by car. Today's itinerary is easy and you don't have to leave early. At noon, you can taste the Demoly Fish Stew at the most famous Demoly Service Station on the Hartung Expressway. It will whet your appetite and is very unique. Jiamusi City has a beautiful Songhua River Park. There are many Shuiyuanshan Park, Xilin Park, Xinglin Lake Park, etc. in the city to visit. Sifengshan Reservoir is also a good place, and there is also a Hezhe Village in Aoqi Town. , you can experience the charming Hezhen museum culture first-hand.

The second stop is Tongjiang. Tongjiang is more than 280 kilometers away from Jiamusi City, and the drive takes nearly 3 hours. Tongjiang City is a small border town, bordering Fuyuan County to the east, Fujin City and Raohe County to the south, Songhua River to the west and Suibin County, and facing the Jewish Autonomous Prefecture of Russia across Heilongjiang River to the north. The border is 170 kilometers long. . The most famous scenic spot in Tongjiang is the Sanjiangkou Scenic Area. The Heilongjiang and Songhua Rivers flow into Tongjiang to form a three-branched mouth. People are accustomed to calling it "Sanjiangkou". The length of the river is 102 kilometers and the width of the water surface is 1,200 meters. After the two rivers merged, the water potential increased suddenly, and the river surface opened up. Looking around, the water and sky were the same color, the waves were surging, and the scenery was myriad.

Continuing onwards, it is 280 kilometers from Tongjiang to Fuyuan and takes 3 hours by car. Along the way, you can visit Jiejinkou and Bacha Hezhe Township. You need to stay in Fuyuan for two days. In Fuyuan city, you can go to the Fish Exhibition Hall, Urban Planning Museum, Soviet Navy Martyrs Cemetery, Fuyuan Fish Market, etc. Of course, the highlight of Fuyuan is Heixiazi Island and Dongji Square. Don’t forget to visit the “First Outpost of the East”.

Boundary marker No. 259 on the north side of Heixiazi Island is one of the last boundary markers set up on the island and is also the commemorative site for the territorial handover between China and Russia in 2008.

Heixiazi Island Wetland Park is one of the most perfect combinations of the island’s original natural scenery and man-made structures. It symbolizes my country’s principles and strong confidence in the protection of the island’s natural ecological environment.

Fuyuan Dongji Square is a landmark building at the easternmost point of my country's land territory. It leans against the motherland and faces the east. It is like a giant warship cutting through the waves and sailing towards the east with its head high.

Starting from Fuyuan today, the destination is Mishan. Along the way, we will visit the Raohe Sipai Hezhe Customs Garden, Zhenbao Island and Hutou Fortress.

Zhenbao Island is an island located on the Chinese side in the west of the main channel of the Ussuli River, a tributary of the Heilongjiang River. It belongs to Zhenbaodao Township, Hulin City, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, 40 kilometers south and west of Raohe County. The island covers an area of ​​0.74 square kilometers and is named after its shape like an ingot. The island is famous at home and abroad for the Sino-Soviet border incident in March 1969.

The Tiger Head Fortress is a permanent military fortress built secretly by hundreds of thousands of Chinese workers from 1934 to 1939 in order to occupy China for a long time and attack the Soviet Union. The front of the fortress is 12 kilometers wide. , 30 kilometers deep.

Continue to pass through 856 Farm and go to Xingkai Lake. 856 Farm is a state-owned farm under the Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation Administration system and is managed by the Mudanjiang Agricultural Reclamation Branch. It is located in the south of Hulin County, on the south bank of the lower reaches of Muling River. The field is 28 kilometers away from Hulin City. Tens of thousands of acres of farmland is a magnificent landscape in itself.

The Xingkai Lake viewing platform is located in the Xinkailiu Scenic Area of ​​Xingkai Lake, on the lake hill between the big and small Xingkai Lakes, on the west side of the Xinkailiu ruins. The platform is divided into four floors, each floor is 7.33 meters high, and the total height is 22 meters. The appearance of the platform resembles the hull of a ship parked on the lake, and the top shape resembles the wings of a bird, fluttering about to fly. The structure of the viewing platform is majestic and harmoniously sets off the vast water surface of Xingkai Lake. It is the most beautiful and popular landscape in Xingkai Lake Resort. Standing on the observation deck, overlooking the water and sky, you can have an unobstructed view of the beautiful scenery of Xiaoxingkai Lake and Xiaoxingkai Lake.

After staying in Mishan for one night, go to Mudanjiang Chaihe Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Northern Xiaojiuzhai is located in Hongsheng Forest Farm of Chaihe Forestry Bureau, 95 kilometers away from Mudanjiang City. It is located in Weihushan National Forest Park, the largest national forest park in the country, with a total area of ​​345,000 hectares. It is located in Zhangguangcai Ridge, the remnant of Changbai Mountain At the eastern foot of the scenic spot, the highest peak of Naitou Mountain is 1,018 meters above sea level. Xiaojiuzhai is a newly developed primeval forest scenic area. We stayed here for one night, and when we got up early in the morning, the mist in the mountains was like a dream, like a fairyland.

Most of this trip was spent driving along the national border. The scenery along the way was breathtaking and refreshing, and it was a worthwhile trip.
