Historical allusions of Moutai in Tian Fei
Starting from 1953, Maotai Distillery was directly led by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry, and Maotai started to export the "Golden Wheel" trademark, which is now the "five-star" trademark. However, this trademark pattern is regarded as a "political trademark" by foreign politicians, so it is discriminated against. It was not until 1957 that Maotai Distillery was conducive to export. At that time, with the approval of the Ministry of Light Industry, the factory leaders held a meeting to study and decide to redesign the export packaging. Zheng Yixing, then the factory director, suggested that the design could be based on the beautiful legend of "Feixian giving wine to the river" circulated among the people in Maotai Town, and named it Feixian. This picture is selected from the mural "Flying Fairy" in Dunhuang Grottoes in ancient China, and is a Buddhist figure. Fairies fly around in the sky, and some land slowly on auspicious clouds; Some hold their heads high, swing their arms and soar upwards; Some hold flowers and go straight into the sky; Some people float across the sky with flowers in their hands. Seeing such figures, we can't help but think of the great artistic shock brought to us by the ancient people in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes with their beliefs. Since then, "Tian Fei" brand Moutai has sold well at home and abroad. Therefore, the idea of "Tian Fei" brand Moutai comes from Zheng Yixing, a master of national wine. (In view of Zheng Yixing's special contribution to Maotai Distillery, Maotai Distillery specially built a statue when building a national wine cultural city, and was honored as the "master of national wine").
