Fangcheng culture

In the old society, the local Han and Zhuang people listened to their parents' orders and matchmakers' words, and their customs and habits were complicated. Generally, there are procedures such as proposing marriage, handing over a post (for the woman), getting married (for the man), getting engaged, getting married, and returning home (for the bride). This man has to spend a lot of money. Some places have the custom of "crying for marriage" on the wedding day.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the old marriage customs were gradually abolished and freedom of marriage was practiced. Wedding ceremonies are developing in a civilized and simple direction, and the forms of group weddings, wedding tea parties and travel weddings are gradually increasing. This is an improvement, but some people still make marriage a big deal, and some still ask for a high dowry, which is really not desirable. In addition, the marriage of Jing and Yao has its own characteristics, but both of them can not be separated from the content of Errenzhuan.
