Where is Jigongling?
Jigongling was originally named Guijiao Mountain or Guajiao Mountain. Jigongling is located near Jintian, between Yuen Long and Fanling. Formerly known as Guijiao Mountain, the mountain range is undulating, mainly composed of two peaks, both of which are equipped with triangulation posts, of which the auxiliary peak (Jigongshan) at an altitude of 374 meters in the west and the main peak (Daluotian) at an altitude of 572 meters in the east.
The mountain is vast, with a total length of about 7 kilometers from east to west, with Ji Feng Township and Fenjin Highway at both ends. Except for damao mountain in the south, there are basically no higher mountains nearby. Therefore, overlooking from the mountain, you can go back to the ring and have a bird's eye view of the whole Jintian, Baxiang, Yuen Long, Nanshengwei area and Shenzhen city. The scenery is charming and magnificent.
Standing on the mountain, you can have a bird's eye view of the pastoral scenery of Yuen Long Plain and Mai Po. Jigongling Ridge runs east-west, with Jiaojing and Ji Feng Township at the east and west ends respectively, and it is also the main entrance for mountaineering. Although these mountains belong to country parks, there are no picnic facilities. In addition to not being maintained, the path has become slippery because of illegal cross-country electric bicycle activities, so it is only suitable for experienced hikers.
In the southeast of Jigongling, there are a broadsword in the same direction and a broadsword in Peking University. A pink brocade road was built in the valley between the two groups of peaks, with Baxiang and Jintian along the way.
