The reason why the engine water temperature is too low is generally that the thermostat is damaged or the cooling fan has been running.

1, thermostat is broken.

The thermostat is a component that automatically acts as a valve according to the engine water temperature. Generally installed at radiator outlet and water pump inlet. When the coolant temperature is low, the thermostat blocks the low-temperature cooling water from the radiator, so that it cannot enter the engine water jacket, and the water temperature in the water jacket can rise rapidly, which is often called small circulation.

If the water temperature rises to a certain temperature, the valve will gradually open, and the coolant in the radiator will start to circulate again, so that the coolant will flow through the radiator and slowly raise the water temperature, and radiate heat to the atmosphere through the radiator, so as to keep the engine water temperature at a suitable temperature. This is the big cycle.

If the thermostat fails, the valve cannot be closed, the coolant keeps circulating, and the engine water temperature may be too low. Or some cars simply remove the thermostat to cool down when the water temperature is high in summer, so that the water temperature of the engine will be very low.

2. The cooling fan always rotates.

There is also a cooling fan. For the electronic fan, the circuit fault causes the electronic fan to rotate normally; For the silicone oil fan, the damage of the silicone oil clutch will also cause the fan not to rotate normally. These faults will cause the phenomenon of low water temperature.
